Nearshore and feline creatures can cast a fishing rod, wait for a catch and bring the collected fish back to their group's outpost.
Nearshore creatures build shared outposts beside the water, gather supplies and use the surrounding area for fishing.
Far-ocean creatures establish underwater outposts near suitable structures and gather fish or recovered treasure for their group.
Choose between floating pop-up dialogue and horizontal danmaku. The display style can adapt automatically to the selected language for clearer, less intrusive conversations.
A friendly pat can calm a creature, build familiarity and produce different dialogue or emotes based on its personality and relationship with the player.
The social wheel shows a creature's relationship, personality, role, health, history and current activity while providing contextual ways to interact with it.
After an involuntary transfur, the player can negotiate with the creature responsible. Its motive, personality and the order of your arguments affect the outcome.

Changed: Synergy
Changed: Synergy turns aggressive latex creatures into neighbors you can actually get along with. An orange or a friendly pat will often get you further than fists and blades. Transfur is not always the end anymore. Sometimes, you can even talk your way back out of it! Just be careful. Some of them may be a little too EXCITED to meet a human again…
Changed: Synergy is an unofficial Forge addon for Changed on Minecraft 1.20.1. It gives Changed creatures persistent names, individual personalities, memories, dialogue, and social behavior. You can befriend them, build affection, form an exclusive bond, and watch them interact with their surroundings.
Chinese is my native language. Since my experience and English ability are limited, I used generative AI to assist with parts of the English content and code. I have reviewed, edited, integrated, and tested the results, but you may still encounter awkward wording or bugs. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to report any issues you find!

Compatibility with newer versions of Changed or Changed Addon Plus is not guaranteed. Synergy relies on specific integration points, so its supported versions are deliberately limited.
Installation
- Install Forge 47.4.x for Minecraft 1.20.1.
- Drop Changed 0.15.7 and the Synergy JAR into your mods folder.
- Install Changed Addon Plus 2.9.2c only if you wish to enable its optional integrations.
- Launch the game and check the Forge Mods screen for any dependency errors.
Do not install multiple versions of Synergy at the same time.

Content statement
Synergy follows a general-audience creative direction, shifting its focus toward creature personalities, relationships, community life, and reversible interactions. As a personal creative boundary, I am not comfortable with the more suggestive elements of the original Changed game, so this addon does not intend to reproduce or expand upon that material. This choice represents a distinct direction for my own content, rather than a judgment on what others should enjoy. It also ensures a purely gameplay-focused extension for the underlying Changed Minecraft mod that Synergy builds upon, without adding content centered on the original game's main characters.
Changed: Synergy does not take a position on controversies surrounding Changed or its creator; readers are encouraged to consult reliable, first-hand sources and draw their own conclusions.

Changed: Synergy is developed by ParkaBird. It is an unofficial addon and is not affiliated with the creator of Changed or Mojang Studios.
