Ceramify is a mod that add a new twist on clay. Trust me, there's a lot more content than you'd expect.
Unfired Flower Pot: an item made in a similar fashion to an ordinary flower pot, but with clay rather than bricks. Also, you can no longer make flower pots out of bricks. Instead, you must make this item and fire it in a furnace to obtain a flower pot. This method uses less fuel.
Clay Slab: an item made by flattening a clay ball using a rolling pin (see "tools" tab). Usually used to make clay nuggets for glaze, or for unfired ceramic armor or tool heads.
Unfired Brick: an item that replaces the clay ball in the brick recipe. Made with one clay ball in the crafting interface. Also used to make Unfired Bricks (as a block) and the Unfired Sword Blade.
Fired Clay: made using the old brick recipe. Can be fired as a projectile to deal relatively high damage.
Silicon: an ore found between y=43 and bedrock level. Used to make the grinder (see "tools" tab) and can be grinded into dust, which is used exclusively for glaze. Comes in stone and deepslate forms.
Aluminum: a metal found between y=25 and bedrock level. Used to make the grinder (see "tools" tab) and can be grinded into dust, which is used exclusively for glaze. Comes in stone and deepslate forms.
Glaze: an item made from silicon and aluminum dust, held together by a clay nugget. This recipe make white glaze, which serves as a base for all other different colors of glaze. At the time, Glaze is only used to color terracotta, coloring 8 at a time in it's recipe, with the glaze in the center. You cannot recolor glaze.
Rolling Pin: used to convert clay balls into clay slabs. Made with one plank and two sticks in a horizontal arrangement, with the plank in the center.
Grinder: used to grind down silicon and aluminum into dust. Made with a vertical arrangement of items, an aluminum ingot on top, a silicon gemstone at the bottom, and a bucket in the center.
Unfired Bricks: a block that can be made from four unfired bricks. Can be smelted into brick blocks.
Soul Clay: a mixture of clay and soul sand that, when triggered by any projectile, allows for the creation of living ceramics. These are specified as the following; Ceramic Golem (vertical arrangement of terracotta, soul clay, terracotta, in that order), Living Vessel (vertical arrangement of bricks, soul clay, decorated pot, in that order (bottom to top)), and Ceramic Spider (soul clay surrounded by four brick slabs). The Ceramic Golem shoots monsters with fired clay projectiles. The Living Vessel can be tamed using fired clay, and stores up to twelve stacks of items for you. The Ceramic Spider can be tamed using clay balls, and can be ridden like a horse.
