Welcome to Celeritas Forge, an unofficial, standalone distribution of the advanced Celeritas rendering performance engine. This project provides pre-compiled, ready-to-use binaries explicitly built for Minecraft 1.7.10 and Minecraft 1.12.2 on the Forge modloader ecosystem.

What is Celeritas?
Originally developed by embeddedt and the GTNH Team, Celeritas is a modern, high-performance rendering fork designed to completely overhaul Minecraft's legacy rendering pipelines. It introduces highly optimized chunk rendering mechanics and a modernized smooth lighting engine.

Why does this standalone project exist?

• For 1.7.10: Normally, the developers do not distribute a separate Celeritas mod file for 1.7.10; instead, the code is packaged and hidden directly inside the Angelica mod jar. This project offers a rare, standalone celeritas-forge-mc1.7.10.jar module compiled straight from the source.

• For 1.12.2: This package pairs the 1.7.10 release with an up-to-date, compatible 1.12.2 iteration built on the exact same rendering framework for effortless deployment across legacy modpacks.

Both files included on this page feature the cutting-edge 2.5.0-dev base engine, pulling the latest live optimization updates directly from the official developer source trees.

Installation & Requirements

• Environment: Client-side only. Do not install this on a dedicated multiplayer server.

• Modloader: Forge (1.7.10) & Forge / Cleanroom (1.12.2)

• Shaders Notice: Standard Oculus/Iris packages will not function alongside a standalone 1.7.10 setup. To utilize shaders on 1.7.10, you must install a compatible rendering pipeline layout like the Angelica-Modules shader framework.
