What's new
CBC Enhanced Shells 1.2.3
Requires Create Big Cannons 5.11.4+ (older versions crashed with NoSuchMethodError — the mod now refuses to load instead of crashing in-game)
Fixes
- Shell Holder: loaded sub-munitions no longer disappear when the holder is fired from a cannon (they were lost due to an NBT format mismatch; wired fuze and missiles already worked)
- Cluster Shells: complete rework of the airburst logic:
- now split mid-air even with a fuze equipped (the fuze is passed down to every sub-shell)
- without a fuze, sub-shells now get a default impact fuze — they actually explode instead of landing as duds
- no longer split instantly at the muzzle on flat shots, or immediately when released by a rocket (fixed early detonation and the simultaneous point-blank explosions that could freeze/crash the game)
- ground detonation via wired fuze now fountains sub-shells upward and outward
- Bunker Buster: no longer bounces off terrain at high velocity — it now reliably enters drilling mode on impact
- Gravitational Shell: the black hole now actually ends — duration reduced from 2–3 min to 30–60 s, compression radius halved, entity attraction range reduced from 512 to 128 blocks (visual effect synced)
- Rockets: fluid shells (and any payload with block-entity data) no longer lose their contents when converted to a rocket — fixes the CBC fatal error on release
- Guided missiles: cluster payloads now burst on approach to the designated coordinates (~35 blocks) instead of detonating early at the top of the arc
- Survival mining: all shells/blocks can now be mined with a pickaxe and drop themselves (the mineable tag was missing entirely)
- Iris/Oculus: shader shell visuals are now cleanly disabled when a shaderpack loader is present, and any shader failure disables the effect instead of crashing the client
- Mini H-Bomb: detonation logic hardened (server-side guards + claim protection, matching the other nukes)
Added
- Target Designator — manual coordinates: right-click in the air to open a screen and type X/Y/Z directly (pre-filled with your current target or position). Confirm/Clear buttons; sneak+right-click in the air still quick-clears. No more walking to the target to click it!
