Create your game server with 
Craft a pair of cat ears from wool, string and leather, put them on, done. No potion, no transformation. Everything goes into eight cosmetic slots next to your inventory, sits on top of your armor, and everyone on the server sees it.
Catgirl or catboy is up to you: every piece fits slim and classic skins the same way.
What you can wear
- Ears: cat ears that twitch, press back when you're hurt and pop up over a helmet
- Head: cat-ear headphones, ear bows, a bell headband
- Face: whiskers, blush
- Neck: a bell collar (it rings when you jump), a velvet choker, a neck ribbon
- Paws: paw gloves or paw mittens, visible in first person too
- Legs and feet: paw leg warmers, paw slippers that make your steps quieter
- Tail: a striped tail that sways and lifts when you walk
Fur pieces come in 8 coats. Six you craft (the wool picks the color), Siamese and Calico only come from the nekos. Collars, bows, headphones, whiskers and blush take any dye.
Sets
- Full Neko (ears, tail, collar, paws): quieter steps, a slightly higher jump, hearts when you meow, and night vision for 10 seconds on N
- House Cat (ears, collar): cats follow you around, and a cat within 16 blocks keeps phantoms away
- Alley Cat (tail, slippers, leg warmers): no fall damage from up to 10 blocks, and you land on all fours
Meow
Press Z. You meow, notes float up, and the cats around you answer.
Cat life
- Cardboard box: climb in and mobs lose track of you
- Cat bed: a nap brings your food back and gives Well Rested, a minute of extra speed
- Catnip: grows in plains, meadows, forests and cherry groves; eat it for Haste and give nearby cats the zoomies
- Yarn ball: throw it, cats chase it
- Snacks: tuna onigiri, fish sticks, a saucer of milk, cat food, catnip cookies, takoyaki, bubble tea, canned tuna
Nekos
- Stray Neko lives in villages, trades cat gear for emeralds and can be tamed with fish. Tamed ones bring kittens.
- Fisher Neko fishes by the water. Bring 10 raw fish for a piece in a rare coat.
- Bakeneko steals what you're holding at night, unless you wear Full Neko.
- Cat Spirit gives you Nine Lives for a flower: your next death doesn't happen.

- Needs Architectury API and GeckoLib (and Fabric API on Fabric).
- Install it on both the client and the server.
- Works with JEI, Jade, and Curios on NeoForge.
- 1.21.1 and 1.20.1 are planned.
