Carpet Anywhere
Carpet Anywhere removes the placement restrictions of vanilla Minecraft, allowing carpets to be placed on many blocks that normally don't support them.
Have you ever wanted to place a carpet under a door, on top of a fence, over a chest, or around a bed without awkward gaps? This mod makes that possible while keeping the vanilla look and feel.
Features
Place carpets on fences and fence gates.
Place carpets under and around doors.
Place carpets on chests and trapped chests.
Place carpets on beds.
Place carpets on trapdoors.
Support for many other non-full blocks.
Automatic compatibility with carpets added by other mods.
Lightweight and designed to fit naturally into vanilla gameplay.
Mod Compatibility
One of the main goals of Carpet Anywhere is compatibility.
The mod is not limited to vanilla carpets—it also works with carpets added by other mods whenever possible. This makes it an excellent addition to modpacks without requiring extra compatibility patches for every carpet mod.
Whether you're using decorative, colored, or custom carpets, Carpet Anywhere aims to make them behave just like vanilla carpets while expanding where they can be placed.
Why?
Minecraft's default carpet placement rules can be limiting when building detailed interiors or decorative landscapes. Many common blocks, such as doors, fences, and chests, prevent carpet placement, forcing builders to compromise on their designs.
Carpet Anywhere removes those unnecessary limitations, giving players more creative freedom while preserving the familiar behavior of carpets.

Performance
Carpet Anywhere is lightweight and has virtually no impact on performance. It simply extends the placement logic of carpets without adding new items, blocks, or complex systems.
Future Plans
The mod will continue to receive improvements, including:
Support for even more block types.
Better compatibility with additional mods.
Bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback.
Feedback
If you find a block that should support carpet placement but doesn't, or if you discover an incompatibility with another mod, feel free to report it. Community feedback helps improve compatibility and expand support for future updates.
Thank you for using Carpet Anywhere, and happy building!
