Carpet is a mod that allows to take full control over your vanilla game.
Carpet is a fabric mod.
Details of the mod:
i've met a question, which is in 1.15.2, carpet mod is not compatible with the newest optifine G6, even if i've got the newest optifabric. so what's wrong?
In reply to scottlv2000:
Do you have Fabric API?
In reply to DillonB07:
There are compatibility issues with WorldEdit on 1.16, I don't know if there are any on 1.15.
If the game is crashing, send your crash report.
Also, you'd be better asking on the Scicraft discord.
I have the mod carpet installed on my server, I have it in the mods folder, but being in the game the server does not detect it
In reply to overwatch_sasuke:
Do you have Fabric API
Or if you have WorldEdit get WorldEdit 7.2.0 to use them together.
When loading up the mod (mod version 1.16.5 through Fabric version 1.16.5), world loading gets stuck at 0%
is there a 1.16.1 version?
In reply to PIXS10:
There is no 1.16.1 version. The closest is a 1.16 version, which should work as 1.16 and 1.16.1 are similar, unlike 1.16.2+ which are different. Give it a go and see what happens. I remember crossing over 1.16 to 1.16.1 with a modpack I made and it worked fine. I've never used Carpet before though, but for version compatibility that's all I can say from what I've tested of other mods and based on what tagging mods have listed by the creators.
In reply to SuntannedDuck2:
thanks ill give it a shot
so it worked but it doesn't work with imersive portals
Not sure about that, which Immersive Portals 1.16 or 1.16.1 version did you use? Best to ask the Immersive Portals creator about that either way.
Latest, v1.4.25 for 1.16.5 is incompatible with MaLiLib and any other mods that require that library.
In reply to Hi_ImKyle:
Working just fine here with latest MaLiLib and all mods connected to it here, only thing I still have problems with, is Worldedit.
In reply to asundruss:
Downgrade to WE 7.2.0, because 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 are incompatible. I believe it will be fixed when 7.2.3 is released, but until then just downgrade.
It is not incompatible. It has issues with Tweakeroo, but they have been fixed in the latest Tweakeroo version. Remember to update MaliLib (because it is better to have both MaliLib and Tweakeroo on the latest version, otherwise there could be crashes), and also update Masa's other mods (e.g. MiniHud, Litematica, ItemScroller, etc.), because they may also crash if the MailLib version is too new.
tl;dr: update Tweakeroo, MaliLib, and also all of Masa's other mods, and it should be fixed
Is there a way to use set ranges for mobs to spawn using this mod? As in, can I set creepers to only spawn 200+ blocks away from the spawn location?
Carpet Mod v1.4.25 for 1.16.5 doesn't work on 1.16.5. Either you uploading the wrong file or just labeled it wrong. Either way, the build is for snapshot 21w05a.
I thought I would try Carpet again, downloaded the latest version for 1.16 but when I try to open a world, it just stalls, and if I create a new world, I get a crash:
The game crashed whilst exception initializing level
Error: org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.transformer.throwables.MixinTransformerError: An unexpected critical error was encountered
Exit Code: -1
Part of the crash report:
Caused by: org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.injection.throwables.InjectionError: Critical injection failure: Redirector onAdded(Lnet/minecraft/class_2680;Lnet/minecraft/class_1937;Lnet/minecraft/class_2338;Lnet/minecraft/class_2680;Z)V in carpet.mixins.json:WorldChunk_fillUpdatesMixin failed injection check, (0/1) succeeded. Scanned 1 target(s). Using refmap fabric-carpet-refmap.json
*EDIT* Didn't see the post below, but it was Worldedit causing the crash.
I downloaded it for 1.16.5 with world edit and sodium but it doesn't work: world loading stops at 0%. Can anyone help me?
