Carpet is a mod that allows to take full control over your vanilla game.
Carpet is a fabric mod.
Details of the mod:
Hi, I need my fake players to fly to do map autofill, but I've realized that if I tp them to me in the air, sometimes they fly sometimes not, regardless of whether I put them in creative mode, is there any easy way to not have to be testing until it happens?
What does the Renewable Blackstone setting do?
Can this mod be purely server sided and have vanilla clients on the server?
In reply to manmadedracon:
Yes, some additions to it work serversided while some don't. Same goes for client side
does this mod have vertical carpets?
In reply to mrcubeymodsmc:
The mod is for things like redstone. And automation.
Hey whats the mod from Philpro that fixes the optifine issue?? i would really like this
Any chance of a port for 1.16.1? I signed up to curseforge just to write this comment =(
Why does the bloody fabric loader even exist when forge existed way before it. It's actually just a f**king pain.
In reply to Mastadero:
fabric is slightly better in the way that it is completely free, open source and uses mixins that can easily effect things in the game so writing mods can be much easier. what is unfortunate however is that people aren't too enthusiastic to porting because either mods are eol in terms of development or they are still being worked on
In reply to suomensoturi:
OK I can now somewhat see the benefits but most of the really fun mods are on forge with a couple fabric exceptions that's why I reacted the way I did as moldings no longer as simple SS it used to be
forge is also completely free, open source and uses mixins?
fabric is good for some mods, but bad for others. lightweight, client side mods are great for fabric, wheras giant mods such as the betweenlands or the aether are better suited for forge. I have nothing against fabric, its just not better than forge, unlike what some may say.
Fabric is better
In reply to SmexyMug:
Fabric is better but the mod support is miniscule.
Yeh and why do houses even exist when caves existed way before it.
In reply to ashvin04:
why would anyone waste their time making forge mods in 2020?
In reply to DULL4H4N:
I have yet to see a fabric mod that adds content to the game like buildcraft, galacticraft, the betweenlands, twilight forest, etc. etc.
Most fabric mods are small + are meant to be more client side/ QOL mods rather than content ones. That's where forge is much superior.
In reply to Deviouslrd:
There are projects like that, but fabric is still new. Most people wouldn't just switch immediately. Those projects take longer to create than fabric has been a thing. A year from now new players will be like what is forge.
