Description
CarlderGross' Tweaks Mod is a vanilla-style mod meant to add some minor features that feel like they ought to be in vanilla Minecraft.
Some of the features include:
Alternate Stone Tools
Stone tools may now be crafted out of andesite, diorite, and granite in addition to ordinary stone.
Compatibility with Tetra was introduced in version 1.3.0.
New Crafting Recipes
Crafting recipes have been added for saddles and name tags.
Saddles are crafted via a "boat" shape of leather with an iron ingot below it.
To craft a name tag, make a horizontal line of two leather with a string on the end.
You can also craft arrows with iron nuggets instead of flint, and finally get out of the stone age.
Additionally, wool can be crafted into string. [Minecraft 1.14+]
Mushroom stew can now be crafted using three mushrooms of the same type instead of one of each. [Minecraft 1.14+]
Craftable Chainmail
Crafting recipes have been added for chainmail. It's more complex to craft but overall cheaper than iron armor.
The first step is to make chain links. Two links can be made from a single iron nugget.
Nine chain links (filling the crafting grid) can then be crafted into a chain panel.
Chain panels can be crafted into chainmail like you craft other armor sets.
