Capri

Capri, the girl who lives on a chip, from the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Slot her chip into your head and she rides along with you. She talks, plays tricks, hacks enemies with red lightning and does what you ask.

• Tap H: call her or send her away. Hold H: her power wheel.
• Chat: ask her to dig a tunnel, find diamonds, build a wall, light up the area and more. On a server, start with "Capri".
• Hold B: talk by voice.

The chip: craft it on a crafting table, then hold it and right-click.

Talking freely: the API key

Without a key, Capri still works: she understands simple requests and has her own lines.
With a key, you can talk with her about anything and she answers in her own words.

The easy way: Groq

1. Go to https://console.groq.com and sign in (free).
2. Open API Keys and press Create API Key. Copy the key (it starts with gsk_). It is shown only once.
3. In Minecraft, open chat and type: /capri key <your key>
4. Talk to her in chat.

The same Groq key is also used for voice (hold B).
The free plan has a limit per minute. If you talk a lot at once, she may answer with a smaller model for a moment.

Other services

Pick the service first, then set its key:

/capri use <service>
/capri key <your key>

- Any other service: /capri use custom <URL> <model>, then /capri key <your key>.
  The URL is the part before /chat/completions (for example https://example.com/v1).
- Another model on the same service: /capri model <name> (OpenRouter has many).
- Paid services: each answer sends about 3,000 tokens. Check the price on the service's page.
- Switching: keys are kept per service. Switching never sends one service's key to another, and switching back brings its key back.
- Voice with another service: voice always uses Groq. If you set a Groq key before, it is used. If not: /capri voicekey <Groq key>.

Useful commands

- /capri status: shows the service, model and key (hidden) in use
- /capri key clear: removes all saved keys
- /capri quiet,/capri talk: she talks only when you talk to her / she talks on her own again
- /capri forget: she forgets your talks in this world

No answer?

- Check /capri status. Is the key set for this service?
- Paid services need credit on your account.
- /capri use groq goes back to the default (your Groq key comes back too).

Your data

- Your keys are saved only on your own PC (config/sandevistan_capri.json). They are never put in the mod and never sent to the Minecraft server.
- Only your message to Capri and a short summary of your situation are sent, and only to the service you chose.
- The microphone is open only while you hold B. Your voice goes only to Groq, which turns it into text.
