Can I Break It?

Can I Break It? is a client-side utility mod that helps you choose the right tool without interrupting your gameplay.

When you look at a block, the mod can:

• Recommend the fastest tool type, such as an axe for wood or a shovel for dirt.

• Warn you when the selected tool cannot harvest the block.

• Display a warning when your tool has low durability.

• Optionally prevent tools from breaking while mining.

• Identify blocks that cannot be broken in Survival mode.

Green and red messages remain visible for only four seconds. They appear again when you switch tools or select another hotbar slot. While building, incorrect-tool warnings are hidden whenever you are holding a block.

Tool Protection

Press P to enable or disable tool protection. When enabled, the mod stops mining before the next use would break your tool.

Hold Left Alt to temporarily bypass the protection. You can change both keys in the Controls settings.
