⚠️ Note: All new textures and models in this update are currently temporary.
✨ Added
- Gravitropic Node: Uses the force of gravity to pull in dropped items from the surrounding area. It covers a 5-block horizontal radius, extending 8 blocks up and 2 blocks down. Pairs perfectly with the Resource Trees!
- Grafting Tool: A new multi-tool for botanical engineering and network management.
- Phloem Duct: Root-based item transport! You can change connections or set it to extract mode by using the Grafting Tool on it.
- Photovoltaic Armor: A new tier of solar-powered gear. The armor recharges its durability when you are in direct sunlight. Equipping the full set grants Saturation and Regeneration.
- Mycelial Node: A central hub block that allows you to access all connected inventories from one place.
- Mycelial Strands: The biological pipes used to connect your inventories to the Mycelial Node. There is currently no limit on how many inventories you can connect.
🔄 Changed
- Fabric 1.21.1: Cambium has been officially ported to Fabric 1.21.1!
- In-World Grafting: Grafting is now done entirely in the world. Hold the Grafting Tool in your main hand and the required resource (e.g., Raw Iron) in your offhand, then right-click a standard sapling to transform it into a Resource Tree Sapling.
- Grafting Risk: Biology is unpredictable! Grafting now has a chance to fail. If it fails, the sapling dies and is replaced by a Dead Bush.
- Machine Logistics: The Solar Digester and Solar Concentrator have been updated so they only accept inputs through their designated main input slots.
- Root Block Drops: The Root Block now drops a Living Log when broken, giving it a bit more utility.
- Creative Tabs: The creative menu is now much more organized. Items are split into three tabs: Blocks, Items, and Resource Trees.
- Tool Tags: The Mycelial Node, Mycelial Strand, and Phloem Duct can now be broken efficiently with an Axe.
❌ Removed
- Splicing Recipe Provider: Removed entirely, as the new in-world grafting mechanic makes it obsolete.
