This mod is a take on tech SolarPunk. It adds resource trees, bio-engineered machines, and more! Hobby mod so is still work in progress. More of proof of concept.

This version is in ALPHA. There are a lot of bugs, missing textures, names, recipes, loot tables. Very unfinished. I am working actively to get the mod to a more polished state. Report any issues to the GitHub on the project page!


Added

New Blocks:

  •  Added Mineral Soil and Organic Ash (byproduct of the Solar Digester).
    • Mineral Soil will have an obtainable way of getting in next update.

Solar Digester:

 

  • Added a proper crafting GUI.
  • Added support for custom recipes via JSON or Java DataGen.

Recipes:

  • Added recipes for Solar Digester and Solar Lens (viewable via JEI, GitHub Wiki, or Gallery).
  • Added a temporary crafting recipe for Resource Saplings using the Smithing Table (placeholder until genetics are fully implemented).
  • Localization: Added and updated proper language files for all new items and blocks.

Changed

  • Renamed Item: Focusing Lens has been renamed to Solar Lens. (Warning: This may break existing worlds/setups from previous versions).

Textures & Visuals:

  • Saplings: Now generate dynamically based on the leaf color assigned to the resource.
  • Fruits: Updated with appropriate textures.
  • Living Log & Root Block: Updated with new textures.
  • Item Models: Updated specific items to render as 3D block models rather than flat sprites.

Fixed

  • Solar Digester: Addressed missing recipe integration (now fully functional).
  • Rendering: Fixed issues with sapling and fruit texture generation.
  • Resource Trees: Fixed where trees now grow if Mineral Soil has a charge of at least 50. (10 per Organic Ash)
    • Resource Fruit uses 2 charge per growth stage. Each fruit takes 6 charge total to grow.
    • Will stop growing if charge reaches zero.
