✨ What is Cache Cleaner?
Cache Cleaner is not a simple "delete cache" button.
It is a complete maintenance system designed around one principle:
Analyze first. Understand the data. Preview the operation. Clean safely.
The mod evaluates available maintenance candidates before performing cleanup and provides the player with information about what is going to happen.
This makes Cache Cleaner particularly useful for large modpacks where hundreds of mods, multiple dimensions and long-running worlds can generate significant amounts of temporary and cached data.
🧠 Smart Cache Intelligence
Cache Cleaner analyzes potential cleanup candidates before taking action.
The system evaluates information such as:
- cache age
- file size
- cache provider
- cleanup eligibility
- protection state
- maintenance context
- previous maintenance information
- current game state
Candidates can be classified into different safety levels:
🟢 Safe
Suitable for cleanup.
🟡 Review
Requires additional consideration.
🔴 Protected
Should not be removed.
⚪ Unknown
Insufficient information for automatic cleanup.
The objective is simple:
Clean what is safe to clean — and leave everything else alone.
🧹 Smart Cleanup
Smart Cleanup provides a controlled cleanup pipeline instead of blindly deleting files.
A typical maintenance operation follows this workflow:
```text SCAN ↓ ANALYZE ↓ CALCULATE ↓ PREVIEW ↓ BACKUP ↓ SMART CLEANUP ↓ VERIFY
