What's new

Burnt Combined 1.10.2.4 (bundles Burnt 1.10.4.3 + Burnt Additions 0.1.3)

UPGRADING FROM OLD ALL-IN-ONE BURNT (1.9.x)? Install this version BEFORE opening
your world — blocks and items that moved to Burnt Additions now carry over
automatically. Chunks opened without it lose them permanently.

Fixes
- Fixed a crash with Infernal Expansion (and other mods that modify fire
rendering, e.g. OptiFine). Burnt's blue soul-fire effect now cooperates with
them instead of conflicting — both mods' custom fires work side by side.
- Clear error screens for missing dependencies: if Cloth Config or GeckoLib
isn't installed you now get a proper "please install..." message instead of
a crash.
- Fixed the "failed to load a valid ResourcePackInfo" log error from the
bundle itself.

New & improved
- Old-world migration: soul wood, tar, sulphur, blaze barrels, black ice and
the rest of the 1.9.x extras survive the upgrade — in the world, in your
inventory, and in chests. A few renames are handled automatically (e.g. raw
sulphur, soul wood). Note: soul/blaze flint bows migrate as regular flint
bows — re-enchant them.
- Soul charges can now be thrown, fire-charge style — right-click to launch a
soul fireball. Using them directly on blocks and firing from dispensers
works as before.
- Dynamic Trees support: soul fire now spreads properly through Dynamic Trees
trunks and leaves on ALL loaders and versions (requires the Burnt Dynamic
Trees addon).
- Soul flames now render emissive like vanilla soul fire — no more odd
shading/shadows on ground flames.

Please remove older Burnt Combined files (1.10.2 / 1.10.2.1) from your
modpack — they contain known conflicts fixed here.
