Burnt Basic 1.10.5.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Burnt Basic
Changes
- Cracked terracotta is randomly rotated. Each face has a different crack pattern, so walls no longer look tiled. Applies whether you crack it with a pickaxe, burn it, or place it by hand.
- Burn Spread settings now have proper names. Wood Spread, Dark Oak Spread and Wood Downward Spread were showing as raw text in the config screen.
Fixes
- Fire could be stacked on fire. Clicking the top of a flame with flint and steel placed another flame above it, so repeated clicks built a tower of fire. Fire now needs something solid underneath, like it does in vanilla.
- Distant fires were still being lit by lava with lava catch turned off. A fire landing on the stone or netherrack around a pool slipped past the check and spread from there.
- Cracked terracotta dropped nothing. The 16 coloured versions gave you no drop at all unless you were holding silk touch. They now drop clay balls when mined normally and the block itself with silk touch, matching plain cracked terracotta.
- Cracked terracotta also dropped clay when it shouldn't. Silk touch gave you the block and a handful of clay. That was a second, hidden drop running on every break, which also handed out the wrong colour's loot.
- Flames in long-distance smoke floated above the fire. They were being placed against a scattered position rather than the burning block, so they hung up to three blocks too high. They now sit in the block that's actually alight.
- Pale oak doors had no icon. The burnt and smouldering pale oak doors were missing their item texture.
- Chipped and other block-variant mods burned far too fast. One block catching could take a whole floor or wall in about a second. Modded wood now chars at the same gradual rate as vanilla wood.
- TerraFirmaCraft pit kilns burned themselves down. Lighting one destroyed the kiln and lost the fuel. Pit kilns, log piles, charcoal piles and forges are now left alone.
