Requires Forge. (I have no intentions on porting the mod to Fabric)
Lately, I've been having problems storing items using barrels near villages, especially when it comes to me upgrading a village while using Minecraft Comes Alive. I needed a similar storage option that doesn't allow Villager AI to wander into my home and cling onto a single barrel. I had a hard time finding a basic barrel replacement, so I decided to make one using MCreator and share it to anyone who's in the same unique predicament as I am.
The mod adds one block and one item into the game:
Storage Block: Same as the barrel; 27 slots that can be opened in an enclosed environment
Wood Finish: a means to craft the Storage Block. any plank can be used.
I have plans to make download files for previous MC versions, and also add extra stuff like a double storage feature, but I'm not really sure if I'll ever do so since I've just made this mod for my own needs and purposes without any knowledge of coding whatsoever. It's just an obnoxious thing I had to deal with that was slowing down my interest to my custom personal modpack, and decided to post here so I won't lose it.
