BuildBuddy is a client-side Fabric mod that helps you prepare for your next Minecraft build by creating a material checklist and tracking how much you have collected. Choose the blocks you need, set your target quantities, and let BuildBuddy keep track of your progress.

No new blocks. No new items. Just a better way to prepare for your next project.

🌿 Create Your Build List

Press K to open the BuildBuddy menu and start planning your build.

• Browse vanilla blocks or search by name.

• Left-click a block to add a stack to your list.

• Right-click a listed material to halve its target quantity.

• Click a quantity to enter a custom amount.

• Use the plus and minus controls to adjust quantities by a stack.

• Remove materials whenever you need to.

• Create lists with multiple materials and scroll through the available blocks.

📦 Track Your Materials

Once your list is ready, select Start Tracking and BuildBuddy will display a compact tracker directly on your screen.

Each material shows its item icon, collected amount, target quantity, and progress toward your goal.

BuildBuddy checks your player inventory, including items stored inside Shulker Boxes and Bundles, so your stored materials count toward your targets.

As your inventory changes, your progress updates automatically.

🎯 Make It Fit Your Screen

Your tracker shouldn't get in the way of your gameplay.

• Move the tracker to your preferred screen position.

• Enter Move Tracker mode to reposition it.

• Scroll through the tracker when your build requires many materials.

• Open the tracking options to move the tracker or end the current build.
