Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The NPC Sell Counter now has a budget it can run out of.
Selling to the counter was never capped - it always paid out the full amount you handed it, no matter how much. That is how npc_shop_sell grew to 90% of every dollar the server has ever created. It now pays out a fixed budget per material family per restock cycle, and tells you when it has run dry.
Counters are now per MATERIAL, not per item. Raw Iron, Iron Ingot and Block of Iron used to have three separate caps despite being the same metal, so smelting and crafting tripled how much you could sell. Same for Relic Coin / Bundle / Sack. They now share one budget - which form you bring no longer matters.
OrcaCoin, EmberCoin and VoidCoin were mathematically guaranteed to sink. The price step used price x (1 + drift + volatility x random), but a multiplicative walk trends at drift minus half the variance, not at drift - so the high-volatility coins bled downward no matter what. OrcaCoin's half-life was 2.6 hours. Meanwhile BuffCoin and GeoCoin had the opposite sign and ran to their ceilings. Stocks had the identical bug. Both now use exp(), so a coin with zero drift is a genuine coin flip, and every volatility has been recalibrated from a target daily swing instead of a per-tick guess.
Random market events are now symmetric. A +10% and a -10% event left you at 99%, which was its own slow bleed on top of the above.
Admin: /economy wipe - a full currency reset (wallets, bank savings, business treasuries, stock and crypto portfolios, loans, ledger totals, market price drift). Items, blocks and Pokemon are never touched. Two-step confirm.
Fixed: the [SellAll] station pulled items out of the chest before selling them, which would have destroyed stock the counter then declined to pay for.
