This Mod introduces naturally spawning Leopard Geckos to desert biomes with the skin of my girlfriend's Leopard Gecko: Haku (Hence the name). This Mod also introduces crickets, a food source for Haku!
Along with that, this mod adds many more buddies and several unique items! Including, but not limited to: Anoles, Toads, Tortoises, 3 types of Crested Geckos, Banana Trees, Bananas, Animal Nets, New Mechanics, Easter Eggs, my Girlfriends Beloved Cat (Savannah), & Plenty More!

Haku (The Leopard Gecko):
  > Uncommonly spawns in the desert, and can be tamed with crickets!
  > Can be fed dead crickets, or calcium crickets. Haku loves calcium crickets since they're super healthy, so he'll follow them super fast!
  > Wild Haku's will hunt living crickets!
  > Once Haku has a full tummy, he'll let you pick him up and carry him around! Shift-Right Click to do so!

Crickets:
Little pests, but great food for Haku and some of his buddies!
  > Crickets spawn often in Forests, Birch Forests, Roofed forest, Taigas, Savannahs, & Plains!
  > Crickets are super small, so they are harder to spot, and to hit!
  > Since crickets only have 1hp, you only need to hit them once to get them!
  > Once you have dead crickets, you can feed them to Haku as is, or craft them with some calcium to make even healthier crickets for him!

  > Crickets only drop when slain by a player or Haku! This is to help reduce lag from dead crickets everywhere, without affecting auto-cricket farms powered by Hakus!

Calcium:
Haku needs to get his nutrients somehow...
  > To get some calcium, just combine a Glass Bottle, and some Bone Meal in your crafting grid!

Savannah The Cat:
PLEASE READ: Savannah was my girlfriends pet cat and has sadly passed away due to a reckless driver. She was a great cat and an absolute sweetheart, who always loved to sniff shoes and play around. I personally miss her very much, as does my girlfriend. I have since decided to bring Savannah to this mod, so please treat her well <3. Fin.

  > Savannah spawns EXTREMELY RARELY in the Savannah biome (ironic, huh? lol).
  > Savannah can be tamed with any pairs of boots (sometimes it may take multiple pairs of boots). Once tamed, she will follow you on all your adventures, as she is defiant, and does not want to stay seated.
  > Savannah has a stubbier nose, shorter legs, and chubbier body than most other cats. Her tail is also always perked upright!
  > Savannah is immune to fall damage, and direct attacks. If you do kill her via other means, no xp will be awarded, and shame on you!

Green Anoles:
These Little Buddies can be found roaming the woods! Be cautious, because they are skittish and easily scared!

  > Spawn naturally in forests and birch forests!
  > Hunt Crickets and can be bred with them, too!
  > Scared of players, so cannot be tamed.
  > Green Anole item for when you catch them (see "Animal Nets"...).

Cane Toads:
These silly toads are always super hungry! Look for them in swamps and riverbanks! They'll eat almost anything that they can fit in their mouth!
Spawn naturally in swamps and river biomes!
Hunt Crickets, Cod, Salmon, Tropical fish, Bats, Silverfish, & Endermites! Can be bred with Cricket variants, Raw Cod, Raw Salmon, and Tropical Fish!
  Too defiant to be tamed!
  > Green Anole item for when you catch them (see "Animal Nets"...).

Animal Nets:
Used to catch non-tameable buddies! There is currently only a small variant, but that may change in the future...

Small Animal Nets are crafted with 4 iron nuggets. 4 leads, and 1 iron ingot. Put the iron nuggets in each corner of the crafting table, put the ingot in the center, and put the 4 leads in each cardinal direction!
To use an Animal net, left click a non-tameable buddy (So it will not work on Haku and Crested Geckos!!!). Each net has 4 durability, and each time you use the net, it will take away 1 durability.

Nets also require that mobs are not babies, in order to catch them.

Have fun chasing down Anoles especially!

  > Chickens can also be caught with a Small Animal Net! More select vanilla mobs will be given compatibility for the Small Animal Net in a future update!

Banana Trees:
Banana Trees spawn randomly in jungles, and can be harvested for resources!
Banana Trees naturally spawn in any jungle biome variant on grass.
Banana Trees consist of 2 main parts: Banana Bark & Banana Tops! Banana Bark is like a log, but can't be used for planks. it can instead be crafted in a 2x2 to get a banana bark bundle. Banana Bark Bundles have a red ribbon by default, but that can be removed by putting the bundled bark in any single crafting slot, giving players Unbundled Banana Bark. Unbundled Banana Bark can then be put in any slot to give you back 4 Banana Bark. Regular Banana Bark is randomly offset on a block like bamboo, and can be climbed on any side that is 5 or more pixels into the block... Banana Tops on the other hand are unobtainable, and drop Banana leaves & Bananas when broken, or when not supported by banana bark. these blocks also have a random offset!
Banana Leaves are a drop from Banana Tops. Each Banana Top drops 1-4 Leaves. Banana Leaves can be planted on the ground like normal saplings, thus placing down a Banana Sapling. They can also be shapelessly crafted with a bowl and 4 of the Banana Leaves to result in Leafy Greens!
Banana Saplings take the same amount of time to grow as any other tree, but only require one bonemeal to instantly grow up, due to the Banana Trees' small size. When a Banana Sapling is broken, it will drop a Banana Leaf.
Bananas are dropped from Banana Tops. Each Top drops 2-9 Bananas (can be increased with Fortune). Bananas are a food source that are just about the same as apples, but have just a little more saturation.

  > Alternatively, one can Right-Click a Banana Tree Top to get the Bananas without harming the tree!

Mushed Banana Can be crafted from a single Banana in any crafting slot. Each Banana Yields 4 Mushed Banana. It takes 1/4 the time of any other regular food to eat this, but it only restores 1 hunger point and 0 saturation...
Try holding some Mushed Banana in your main-hand in either the End Midlands or End Highlands, and see what happens... ;)
A 3x3 of Mushed Banana in a crafting table results in a Banana Mush Block. The Banana Mush Block has a hitbox the height of Soul Sand, squishy sounds, breaks falls, and is a semi-solid! Although it's admittedly slow, you can swim through the Banana Mush Blocks. To place one of these blocks, you will need to Shift Right-Click, as default Right-Clicking interacts with the block. On that note, Mushed Banana Blocks have a 1 in 20 chance to be consumed/destroyed when eaten! They can be Right-Clicked to restore 1 hunger point per click (but, no saturation is restored). Banana Mush Blocks can be put in any crafting slot to yield 9 Mushed Banana.
Banana Pudding can be crafted shapelessly from a Bowl, 4 Mushed Banana, and 4 Sugar. It restores 10 hunger and 10 saturation (half of each entire bar), and gives the user Speed 1 for 3 seconds! Banana Pudding takes ever so slightly longer to eat than most foods. Sweet!

Forge Tags?:
Forge Tags are what many mods use in their recipes, to allow for compatibility!

Bananas have the 10 following tags, making them compatible with most banana based recipes from other mods (Including Neapolitan!): "forge:fruits/banana", "forge:fruits/bananas", "forge:crops/banana", "forge:crops/bananas", "forge:food/banana", "forge:food/bananas", "forge:foods/banana", "forge:foods/bananas", "forge:banana", & "forge:bananas"!

  > The Mushed Banana Recipe can use any of the previous tags, meaning you can now craft Banana Mush using bananas from most mods! This makes any of Buddies banana oriented items craftable from compatible mod's bananas!

Red-Footed
 Tortoises:
These tortoises are slow, but sweet. They can be found in most warm grassy areas (any Savannah or Jungle Edge variants). They Love their Greens!

  > Spawn naturally in all Savannah variants, and all Jungle Edge variants.
  > They're herbivorous, so they don't attack. On that regard, they follow and can be bred with Leafy Greens (Crafted with 4 Banana Leaves and a Bowl in a shapeless recipe).
  > These little-guys are slow and have low health, but have a sturdy shell to soak up most damage. Though, upon death they will drop a single scute.
  > Green Anole item for when you catch them (see "Animal Nets"...).

Crested Geckos:
Crested Gecko variants are referred to as Morphs (indicated by *), just like in the real world! These Crested Geckos all eat and breed with Mushed Banana (a single Banana in any crafting slot = 4 Mushed Bananas). There is a Crested Gecko Morph to be found in each dimension! As of right now, Morphs cannot be crossbred to give unique outputs (I may change this in one of the next major mod releases).

*Crested Gecko (White Lily Morph):
These illusive little guys live in The Overworld, and are exclusive to Beaches. Similar to Haku, when tamed you can Shift-Right Click to pick them up!

These Guys are fairly rare, and only spawn on Beaches in The Overworld...
Like all other Crested Gecko Morphs, they are picky eaters and only like to eat Mushed Bananas! If you feed them enough Mushed Bananas, they will be tamed.
Shift-Right Clicking a tamed White Lily Morph will give you the item of that buddy to carry around!
White Lily Morphs are Immune to lightning (this will have expanded mechanics in a future update...).
Like all other Crested Geckos, White Lily Morphs will panic and run away when attacked :(

*Crested Gecko (Fire Morph):
These illusive little guys live in The Nether, and are exclusive to Crimson Forests. Similar to Haku, when tamed you can Shift-Right Click to pick them up!

These Guys are fairly rare, and only spawn in Crimson Forests in The Nether...
Like all other Crested Gecko Morphs, they are picky eaters and only like to eat Mushed Bananas! If you feed them enough Mushed Bananas, they will be tamed.
Shift-Right Clicking a tamed Fire Morph will give you the item of that buddy to carry around!
Fire Morphs are Immune to fire and lava (this will have expanded mechanics in a future update...).
Like all other Crested Geckos, Fire Morphs will panic and run away when attacked :(
  > Try naming one "Creamsicle"...

*Crested Gecko (Axanthic Morph):
These illusive little guys live in The End, and are not naturally visible. To find one, carry Mushed Banana in The End. Similar to Haku, when tamed you can Shift-Right Click to pick them up!

These Guys are fairly rare, and are not naturally spawning mobs... To find one, carry some Mushed Banana in your main-hand in either the End Midlands or End Highlands...
Like all other Crested Gecko Morphs, they are picky eaters and only like to eat Mushed Bananas! If you feed them enough Mushed Bananas, they will be tamed.
Shift-Right Clicking a tamed Axanthic Morph will give you the item of that buddy to carry around!
Axanthic Morphs are Immune to Arrows (this will have expanded mechanics in a future update...).
Like all other Crested Geckos, White Axanthic morphs will panic and run away when attacked :(

Creative Tabs

There are 2 separate creative tabs!

  > The 2 tabs are as follows: 1 for mobs/buddies & 1 for miscellaneous.

Neapolitan?:

Neapolitan is a mod primarily focused around Ice Cream, Chocolate, Strawberries, Bananas, & more! Neapolitan was made in collaboration with Team Abnormals. I in NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM have worked on or own Neapolitan, I have just made my mod more compatible with it!

  > By putting 3 Buddies Bananas in a crafting table in any positions (shapeless recipe), you can convert them to 3 Neapolitan Bananas, or use 3 Neapolitan Bananas in a shapeless recipe to craft 3 Buddies Bananas.

As a side note, just to clarify: The name is not a spelling error, as "Baby" is intended to be singular, as this mod was initially meant to add Buddies to the game for my girlfriend, but has since grown into something much more!
[You are welcome to use this mod in your videos, and modpacks, as long as you do not steal credit for it. It would be greatly appreciated if you gave me credit, but you don't have to.]
