🛠️ Craftability & Design Philosophy
- Survival-Ready: Every single item, block, and mechanic featured in this mod is fully craftable in survival mode.
- Built with MCreator: Leveraging the power of MCreator, the mod ensures stable performance, clean integration with existing vanilla mechanics, and straightforward recipe logic.
🪦 1. Interactive Graves & Memorials
Honor the fallen or mark your territory with a fully interactive mourning system. Perfect for hardcore servers or serious roleplay communities.
- The Grave Structure: A beautifully designed, player-built monument featuring a customizable cross and a hanging wooden inscription sign. Use it to commemorate your late beloved dog, a fallen villager, or another player who didn't survive hardcore mode.
- The Interactive Coffin: Placed directly beneath the grave marker, players can physically open the ground to reveal a realistic coffin nestled into a 2-block deep plot.
🔥 2. The Cremation System
For players who prefer an alternative to traditional burial, the mod introduces an industrial-style disposal and storage mechanic.
- Cremation Chamber: A specialized furnace block equipped with a dedicated user interface. Drop in mobs, blocks, or excess items and press the interactive "Cremate" button to incinerate them.
- Ash: The direct byproduct of the Cremation Chamber.
- Ash Sack: A craftable storage pouch specifically designed to hold your accumulated Ash, which can then be formally buried within a traditional grave plot.
🍺 3. Functional Beverages
Introduce tavern culture and defense logistics to your settlements with fully reactive consumables.
- Craftable Beer: Brew and consume fresh Beer to dynamically heal your character. Drinking too much triggers a realistic drunk status effect.
- Improvised Weaponry: Once emptied, don't throw the bottle away! The empty beer bottle can be wielded as a fragile but highly dangerous melee weapon.
- Bottlecaps: Collect leftover bottlecaps after drinking to showcase your addiction or accumulate them as a specialized currency.
🚬 4. Cigarettes
Introduce high-stakes habit management and risky performance boosts to your world with fully fleshed out tobacco mechanics.
- Craftable Packs: Cigarettes stack only by 1 individually, but a specialized Cigarette Pack allows you to store and carry up to 6 at once.
- Risky Performance Boost: Lighting up provides a brief Haste status effect for quick bursts of productivity, but instantly inflicts 2 damage upon use.
- Realistic Equipment Needs: You can't smoke without a spark. Players must have a Flint & Steel in their inventory or hand to successfully light up.
- Litter & Death: Smoking drops a physical Cigarette Butt on the ground. Be careful with your health! If you smoke too much, you will die with the message stating "… died of lung cancer".
🛂 5. Advanced Passports & Border Control
Turn your server borders into fully operational checkpoints with an incredibly detailed identity management interface.
- Custom Identity Profiles: Interact with the custom Passport GUI to customize documents for yourself or other players.
- Dynamic Player Skins: Place a renamed item into the "Name" slot, and the built-in mini-player display inside the UI will automatically update to reflect your exact character skin!
- Identity Variables: Manually input and assign specific parameters, including Country and Gender.
- Stamps Mechanic (Allow/Deny): Fully interactive green checkboxes and red "X" stamps allow server border control officers to legally authorize or deny entry to travelers based on their documentation.
🚗 6. Asphalt
Asphalt and Marked Asphalt can be used for very detailed and convincing roads. They offer:
- Realistic roads
- Convenient car traffic
- Simplicity for pedestrians
- Beautiful in photos
🗑️ 7. Miscellaneous Flavor & World-Building
To make your creative or roleplay world feel genuinely alive, the mod includes various everyday utility items and atmospheric mechanics.
- Poo Mechanic: Adds a very useful new material, can be used for fast travel due to low friction. Press G when hunger is full to poop.
- Trash Can: A functional block that lets you properly get rid of trash, helping keep your city streets clean.
- Money: Physical currency items designed to kickstart robust server economies, trade agreements, and financial roleplay.
- USSR Block!
- The Whip: A versatile tool and weapon that adds an extra layer of interactive flavor and authority to historical or law-enforcement roleplay scenarios.
🌐 Endless Creative & Roleplay Possibilities
Basement Siberia bridges the gap between pure sandbox building and structured life-simulation. Setup intricate customs borders between distinct player nations, build bustling city taverns, organize formal military funerals, or establish a working waste-management and banking grid. Your imagination is the only limit! Best used in NGS servers.
