Brutally Realistic 1.5.1 — Fixes
Minecraft 26.2, NeoForge and Fabric. Existing worlds are fine.
Trees fall over
- Cutting through a tree's trunk no longer drops the logs above straight down one by one. The whole tree tips over and lies on the ground in the direction you are facing; logs with no room to land drop as items. Its leaves come down with it.
- A tree that still stands on its roots is never touched by block physics: cutting a branch or the top leaves the rest in place. Log buildings (logs with no natural leaves) keep the usual physics.
- Anything standing where the trunk lands gets hurt.
Choose what you carve
- When one material can be carved into several things, you can now choose. Hold the knife, put the material in your off hand, then sneak and right-click to pick the next piece. The knife remembers your choice.
- This fixes the bone needle, which could never be carved (the bone shard always gave a bone hook), and resin from spruce logs.
- When carving something with several options, a message reminds you which piece you are making.
Choose what you weave
- The loom had the same issue: flax fiber always gave linen and never string. A new button under the arrow switches what you weave; the piece you will get shows faintly in the result slot.
