Blocks

  • Scrap metal bales for all scrap metal types except zirconium
    • Compressed block variants for scrap metal
      • Melting them gives 1 block of the corresponding metal and 10 times more XP.
        • Made with 9 scrap metal items.
          • Also can be used for detail in junkyards.
          • Chiseled zirconium  variants, crafted with zirconium slabs in different ways and can be switched in the crafting table.
          • Wood plank variants for viridescent, azuri and mauve wood types.
            • No crafting recipes yet.
              • Clapboards, panels, carved/vertical planks and parquets.
                • Clapboards simply continuous planks for wood siding houses.
                • Panels simply tile equivalent for floors and walls
              • Carved for decoration with unique patterns for each wood type.
                • Parquets are decorative blocks for floors.
                  • Stairs and slabs for panels and parquets
                    • Walls for clapboard and panels, behave like glass panes.
  • Marlstone pillars for more decoration.

Mauve log variants, trunks, ladders  and bookshelves

Barrels for each wood type, function like vanilla barrels, which will become spruce barrels in the future.

 

Enchantments

  • Detonator - Increases explosion size and power for dynamite guns, 3 levels.
  • Carpet Bomber - Incompatible with detonator to prevent overpowering. Similar to multishot, and creates 4 smaller explosions around the main one.

Curse of Detonation - Has a 10%*level chance for the dynamite stick to detonate where the shooter is when the gun is fired.

 

Items

  • Drothium bows, more powerful bows with good durability
  • Alexandrite dynamite guns - legendary high durability, low power dynamite guns
  • Alexandrothian and pieces to put together and use on the center polished pyroxenite in the fortress ground floor.

 

Mobs

  • Drothian Fortress General - A boss for the fortress
    • Has 500 health
      • Has 3 phases of the fight 
        • Phase 1 - Easiest, chases and does melee only attacking.
          • Phase 2 - Harder, summons 4 fortress guards every 15 seconds which  look like clones of the boss.
            • Phase 3 - Hardest, stops summing fortress guards, regenerates health, but can't return to 2nd phase. Also has thorn-like attack which is unavoidable with any armor.

Structures

  • Drothian Fortress -  A rare, massive, castle-like structure where the boss is spawned and defeated. Has 4 spawners to spawn guards in the corners. After the boss is defeated and the ground floor and basement are cleared, a drothium and vibranium farm is possible through the scrap metal mechanic.
  • Brine Ruins - Ocean ruins which are found in the brines, made of brinemud, marlstone, aquastone or pyroxenite. 

 

World

  • Patches of brinemud now generate from sea level down to Y-52 underneath marlstone gravel to make it easier to get the 2nd tier of tools.

  • Alexandrite ore is now as rare as ancient debris from 1.16.
  • Made vibranium ore rarer.
  • Readjusted harvest levels of stones so certain tools or higher required to break them.
    • Drothwood - Marlstone, Lignite, Serpentine, Linarite
      • Brine - Drothwood + Pyroxenite, Adventurine, Black Opal, Aquastone, Feldine, Sodalite
        • Feldine - Brine + Vibranium and Drothium
          • Vibranium - Feldine + Alexandrite

Items

  •  Reset harvest level of tools to appropriate levels.

 

Mobs

  • Nerfed drothids and dropedes as they were too strong in a survival test for the update content.

 

Textures

  • Fixed filenames for item and armor textures, removed vanilla/unused item textures
  • Hematite, fire agate, and  sugilite now have improved textures.
  • Fixed obsidian brick, polished and tile textures to go better with  each other. 
  • Added files for green jade variants, and cut brick, pavement or consistency variants for all 6 overworld stone types for a future update.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Lignite ore dropped an additional ore item if you were doing a survival test.
  • Zirconium and lepidote slabs did not stack.
  • Lepidote and all transparent slabs did not render correctly.
  • Aleots did not despawn, meaning spending long times in a certain area would eventually cause the game to lag.
  • Fixed some other minor bugs and performance inprovements.
