hello, and welcome to the Broken By Buried Shadows Minecraft Mod

before you look at the guide i want to thank you for playing the mod it really means a lot!

GUIDE:
(TO GET THE "CLASSES" AND "BROKEN BY BURIED SHADOWS MOD" ADVANCEMENTS YOU NEED TO ENTER FEATHER FOREST!!!(basically start of the mod))

CHAPTER 1: New Materials (ores) And Classes:

So you spawned in the world, here is what you need to do to advance in the mod:

1. talk to armorer villagers and get lucky to find the new materials (ores) in the trading.

2. Each new material is better than theyre counter-part. For example:

sun (material) is better than iron

2 iron ingot = 1 sun ingot and same for diamond and netherite. (but more and more expensive)

3. There is also classes (if you really want to you can try being a hybrid (hybrid = more than one class)) if you dont know what classes are, here is google's answer:

"In tabletop games and video games, a character class is an occupation, profession, or role assigned to a game character to highlight and differentiate their abilities and specializations."

4. You will not get to be a class right at the start and will have to work for the tools and armor.

5. You will need to craft a special gem for the class you want to be, so you can craft the weapons and armor.

6. Of course, some gems are easier to make, and some harder. (Depends how strong the sword and the armor is. And do not forget about the special enchantment for each class armor. (And in some classes tools)

7. Each class has theyre own buffs and debuffs thats why i do not recommend being a hybrid class.

8. You need to farm a lot for some classes! So be careful on what class you choose!

9. As a disclamer this mod doesnt focus on classes. So it's your choice if you want to be a class or not.

CHAPTER 2: Float Lands Dimension:

1. get 10-14 sun blocks by trading with the armorer villager

2. talk to a cartographer to get the Float Lands Key (think of it as a special flint and steel for the portal)

3. build the portal using sun blocks (1 sun block = 9 sun ingot) open (light) the portal with the key and enter the Float Lands.

4. you need to go to the float lands to be able to know how to craft the gems for the classes.

(You need to enter float lands dimension to continue the mod)

CHAPTER 3: Ore Dealer Station:

The Ore Dealer Station is a good villager station that nerfs the price of the new materials (ores/minerals)

HOW TO MAKE ORE DEALER STATION:
1. You need to go to the Feather Forest Either By Exploring A Cave Or Going To The Float Lands
To Get 4 Pink Stone Bricks (9 Pink Stone = 8 Stone Bricks)
2. You Need To Craft 4 Metal Sticks
3. You just need one more fluorite material (ore/mineral)
4. Put The Ore Dealer Station Near A Villager So It Can Take The Ore Dealer Job.
This is how you craft the Ore Dealer Station. As you will also see in Chapter 4,
It might seem easy but it is really hard.
You will only be able to craft the Ore Dealer Station As Soon As You Go To The Nether.

CHAPTER 4: Thermo-Essence Station:

The thermo-essence station is a really good villager station but its expensive and hard to make.
The thermo-essence station will help you your whole run (in some cases) the trades of the Thermo-Essence Villager are really OP
and you should craft one.
The thermo-essence station helps you get stuff way easier than before with normal trading or crafting.

HOW TO GET THERMO-ESSENCE STATION:
1. Obtain all 5 new materials (ores/minerals) to craft all of the Essences
2. Go mining in the Feather Forest biome and get 1 pink stone
3. using Fluorite, craft 2 Fluorite Blocks using 18 Fluorite. (this seems easy but it is really hard)
4. Craft a metal stick using one fluorite and one stick
5. craft the Thermo-Essence Station
6. Put The Thermo-Essence Station Near A Villager So It Can Take The Thermo-Essence Job.
This is how you craft the Thermo-essence Station. It might seem easy but it is really hard
and you will only get it in the late game. It will become more and more useful in future updates.

CHAPTER 5: new ores (plus old ores but with armor and tools):

You can skip this if you want. This is just for you to see how strong or weak the new materials (ores/minerals) are:

Coal - 0.7x weaker than iron
Copper - 0.5x weaker than iron
Topaz - 0.2x weaker than iron
Zincite - 0.1x stronger than iron
Sun - around 0.6x stronger than iron (good starting armor)
Ruby - around 0.8-0.85x stronger than iron
Fluorite - around 2.2-2.4x stronger than netherite (this is a really good armor but also hard to get)

CHAPTER 6: Sword Station:

1. Get 1 sun ingot and 1 fluorite material
2. Get 2 Metal Sticks and 1 Star Stick
3. Get 1 zincite, topaz and Fluorite blocks (9 topaz, 9 zincite and 9 fluorite)
4. Craft The Sword Station

And that is all! Thank you for reading the guide! and now that you know almost everything (of course you need to explore to find new biomes, craft new tools, find new items etc.) you can start playing

and enjoying the mod! Thank you once again for wanting to play this mod. It will be difficult at the start but it will get easier once you get the hang of it so you dont need to worry about anything.
