What's new
BroadcastCraft 0.4.0
Write your own teletext
Stations can now publish their own teletext pages. Open the station screen at your Vision Mixer and press Teletext...: you get three pages, 110, 111 and 112, each with a title and twelve lines. News, a programme schedule, a quiz, a message to your viewers - whatever your station wants to say.
The pages go out with the station. Every television tuned to it lists them on the teletext index (page 100) and shows them in the arrow-key cycle. Edit a page while you are on air and viewers get the new text within a moment. Long lines wrap on their own, and a counter shows how much of the page you have used.
The channel list tells you what you can receive
The television's channel directory now shows the signal standard of every analog station, and warns in advance when your set would show it (B/W) or (no reception) - so you no longer have to tune in and look at snow to find out.
Fixed
- Typing into a text field no longer triggers game keys. Naming a station, camera or monitor closed the window as soon as you typed an E. While a field is selected it now gets every key; Escape still closes the window and Tab still moves between fields.
- The signal line on the television screen overlapped the divider below it.
Translations
French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese now cover everything added since 0.2.1: the advancements, handbook chapter titles, mixer keybinds, teletext and the eleven studio props, whose names had still been in English. The longer handbook chapter texts remain in English for now.
Compatibility
Available for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) and 1.21.1 (NeoForge). Client and server must both run 0.4.0 - the network format changed, and mismatched versions now refuse to connect instead of misbehaving. Existing worlds load unchanged.
