Brainlayers Refabricated

An unofficial Fabric port of Brainlayers for Minecraft 26.2, bringing its unusual collection of items, tools, decorations, and playful mechanics to Fabric.

This project builds on the earlier 1.20.1 port and adapts its content for Minecraft 26.2. It is maintained independently and is not an official release by the original author.

What’s Inside?

Brainlayers adds a variety of curious things to discover, craft, and experiment with. Some are useful, some are decorative, and some are simply fun.

One of its creative features is the fuse bead system:

• Craft a bead table and create pixel art on boards ranging from 16×16 to 128×128.
• Collect colored beads and use tweezers or a bead pen to build your designs.
• Save patterns on reference paper, then iron your designs into finished artwork.
• Attach your artwork to supported items, tools, and armor.
• Use a bead speaker to share your creations as custom chat emojis.

The mod also includes unusual equipment and interactive objects, such as binoculars, a cactus water gun, school furniture, and more.

About This Port

This version includes adaptations for Fabric and Minecraft 26.2, along with fixes for rendering, interfaces, networking, and gameplay issues encountered during the port.

Compatibility with other mods and shader packs is still being improved. If you encounter a problem, please include your mod version, a description of what happened, and any relevant logs or screenshots when reporting it.

Multiplayer

Install the mod on both the server and every client.

Starting with version 1.6, the mod checks its version during login. Clients must use the same mod version as the server to join.

Stability Warning

This is an unofficial port and may contain bugs or behave differently from the official NeoForge release.

Please back up important worlds before installing or updating the mod.
