Botania Ponder

Botania Ponder adds Ponder scenes for Botania, powered by PonderLib.

The idea behind the project is to make Botania's mechanics easier to understand directly in-game. The Lexica Botania is great for detailed descriptions of blocks, items, and systems, but many mechanics are much easier to understand once you see them in action.

The scenes focus on individual Botania mechanics: flowers, mana transfer and usage, lenses, crafting systems, and other interactions. If a block has several different functions, they can be split into separate scenes instead of being crammed into one overloaded demonstration.

Botania Ponder is currently in active development. Botania is a very large mod, so the project will gradually cover more and more of its mechanics, with the number of scenes growing with each new version. Existing scenes may also be refined and improved as both the project and PonderLib continue to develop.

The mod is entirely client-side and serves as additional in-game documentation. It does not interfere with Botania's mechanics, recipes, progression, or balance.

Botania Ponder is not meant to replace the Lexica Botania. The Lexica remains a detailed reference, while Ponder lets you see the mechanics it describes directly in action.
