BoomResist adds a brand-new durability mechanic to Minecraft tools!
Whenever the player is caught in an explosion, the item in their hands will take a small amount of durability damage — depending on what it’s made of.
⚙️ Features:
🪓 Wooden tools – fragile, take heavy explosion damage.
⛏️ Stone and iron tools – take moderate damage.
⚔️ Diamond and netherite tools – highly resistant, lose very little durability.
🏹 Bows and crossbows – take moderate damage.
🔥 Flint and steel – sturdy, takes low damage.
🪂 Elytra – cloth wings are vulnerable, take increased explosion damage.
🎣 Fishing rods – very fragile, take heavy damage.
💣 Works for both main hand and offhand.
🔥 Items are also damaged by TNT, beds in the Nether and End, Ghast fireballs, and End crystals.
🔧 Compatible with custom tools from other mods (as long as they extend vanilla tool or item classes).
