What's new

Bons and Furious 1.0.41 for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. Requires Java 21 and NeoForge 21.1.252 or newer. Install bons_and_furious-neoforge-1.0.41+mc1.21.1.jar on the client, the server, or both; optional target mods are not required. Use the separate Forge build for Minecraft 1.20.1.

Changed: frame_pacing now lets Minecraft make its frame-rate limiter call, just before the frame is shown, instead of making that call itself. Minecraft handles clicks and key presses while the limiter waits, so a crash in a menu click or key press used to show a Bons and Furious method in its stack trace even when a data pack or another mod caused it. The frame pacing itself is the same.

Changed default: radium_experimental_tickets_spawning now ships off, as in the Forge build since 1.0.40. It turns on Radium's experimental mob-cap count, which crashed a Minecraft 1.20.1 server when another mod moved players off the server thread. A config file from an earlier version keeps its value; set it to false there to follow the new default. The new Forge control for Valkyrien Skies is not in this port, because Valkyrien Skies has no 1.21.1 build.

This build carries the same 205 controls as 1.0.39+mc1.21.1. Tested on dedicated servers with and without Radium 0.13.1 (same terrain; Radium's experimental option stays off unless switched on) and on clients with Embeddium and with Iris and shaders. On the title screen, 39 key presses handled during the limiter's wait had no Bons and Furious method on the stack; with 1.0.39+mc1.21.1 all of them did. The performance figures on the project page were measured on Forge 1.20.1 and do not describe this port.
