Block Bites adds a Devour ability (default V) that lets you eat items, visible blocks, or nearby mobs to restore hunger and saturation — hold V to perform the eating animation and consume whatever you are holding, a visible nearby block (removed without drops), or a nearby mob, and press Spit (default B) to expel recently-devoured entries in reverse order.
