- The Gelded is a zombie variant that spawns in the Lumen Woods. When damaged on nether blocks, it will change the ground below it to Lumen Nylium- or failing that, will become much slower.
- Calcluck is a giant chicken variant that currently drops feathers when killed. They are twice as big as a normal chicken and spawn exclusively in the Lumen Woods.
- Calcite and its variants now generate in the Nether in the Lumen Woods and Scholar Summit.
- Blest Ores appear in the Lumen Woods. These ores can only be destroyed through explosions and currently drop Blest variants of the ores, although recipe functionality has not been properly implemented so they currently do not have use.
- Many alterations to existing mobs in Scholar's Summit will hopefully have them have them swimming in lava less.
- Bonemealing Lumen Nylium infested blocks will create a square circle around the bonemeal block of Lumen Nylium and Lumen Netherrack. These can be further bonemealed and make bridges that can be used to traverse across the Nether.
- Manganese ore can be found in all three dimensions in either calcite clusters, netherrack, or endstone generation. This can be used to create Manganese armor and tools, which are slightly better than iron, have diamond level mining, and have a fairly long shelf life. Raw Manganese Ore, when smelted, produces only a single nugget, of which 3 can be used to produce a single Manganese ingot. When used in a brewing stand with Iron Ingot bars, one can convert three iron ingots into three Manganese ingots by using Raw Magnanese to alloy them together. There is also a smithing recipe.
