Blake AI
Eight translucent cube creatures inspired by The Mi Alliance: Invasion! printed models invade the Overworld. Clear pink shells reveal red cores, with ivory faceplates, scarlet eyes, blades, a tall signal antenna, and a broad turret. The models are interpretations of a reference photograph; hidden surfaces are inferred.
Creatures and combat
Meet the Scout, Cube, Blade, Saw, Signal, Sentinel, Walker, and Tank. Each has its own model, health, damage, movement speed, and spawn egg. All attacks are melee in this beta; the tank barrel is decorative.
The Mi spawn in dark Overworld areas and hunt nearby living creatures, including animals, villagers, Survival players, and other monsters. Fellow Mi variants, scoreboard teammates, armor stands, dead entities, and Creative/Spectator players are excluded. Normal terrain, visibility, reach, and invulnerability rules still apply. They do not destroy blocks. Peaceful difficulty removes them.
Requirements and installation
- Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API 0.116.17+1.21.1, or a compatible newer build for 1.21.1
- Java 21
Place this mod and Fabric API in the profile's mods folder. Install both on the server and every client for multiplayer. Intended for macOS, Windows, and Linux; no native libraries, external AI service, API key, or GeckoLib required. Bedrock, Forge/NeoForge, and other Minecraft versions are unsupported.
Create a separate Creative test world on Normal difficulty and search for Mi spawn eggs. With cheats enabled, try /summon blake_ai:mi_cube ~ ~ ~. Spawn animals or monsters nearby to see combat.
Beta status
The build and 11 headless server tests passed, covering autonomous approach and damage for all eight variants, additional monster/villager targets, exclusions, and entity save/load. A macOS Apple Silicon development client started successfully. In-world visual acceptance, a separate production-profile launch, multiplayer playtesting, Intel Macs, and shader/modpack compatibility still need testing. Translucency approximates printed plastic; it does not provide refraction. English and Thai entity/item names are included.
