Blade Forge Workshop

A forging addon for SlashBlade Resharped, for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. Requires SlashBlade Resharped.

Crafting here works differently from the base SlashBlade mod. Use the Tsuba Workbench, Heating Furnace, Forge Anvil and Blade Assembly Bench to go through every step: crafting the fittings, balancing the iron-to-steel ratio, forging, clay-coating and quenching, and finally assembling the finished blade.

All blade recipes require a finished blade stock plus a Pure Iron or Pure Gold Tsuba. Wooden and bamboo blades additionally need their matching wood or bamboo blade stock, a blade handle and a sheath. The Blade Assembly Bench automatically takes over every SlashBlade recipe from the base mod and its addons that would normally be crafted at a crafting table or smithing table, while keeping the original material and prior-blade requirements. Right-click to place the materials in one by one, then right-click with the Forging Hammer to complete. Upgrading preserves your kill count, Proudsoul count, Refine level and base attack growth. Recipes can also be added or overridden through datapacks.

The Forge Anvil absorbs Proudsouls, Proudsoul Ingots and Proudsoul Spheres to raise your Refine and Proudsoul totals, add kills and restore durability. Both refinement damage and Proudsoul forging attacks use diminishing returns — the higher your Refine, the smaller each additional damage bonus becomes. The iron-to-steel ratio and the tsuba material together determine the attack and durability-cap bonuses applied when the blade is forged.
