BioShock Content Update 1.2

 

DISCLAIMER: Your plasmids may be messed up when updating. This is due to plasmid IDs being shuffled around. As of this update, this should only affect Incinerate!

 

If the Gatherer's Garden does not work properly, you may need to do both /plasmidsflush and drink the plasmid bottles over again. As of this update, this should only affect Incinerate!

 

 

 

  • Adjusted canon compliance

-Only "spliced" mobs can have their ADAM extracted. This includes mobs such as Evokers, Endermen, Golems, and the BioShock mobs.

 

  • Bugfixes

-Previously, Bouncers could not spawn. They now can.

-Previously, "Incinerate!" was referred to as "Incinerate" in some instances. It is now consistently referred to as "Incinerate!"

-Batteries, Rubber Hoses, and Brass Tubes can now be found in the Rapture Ruins chests.

 

 

  • Power to the People Station

-Allows the player to upgrade guns.

-Requires a Power to the People Token, which can be found in Rapture Ruins chests and by killing Big Daddies.

-Currently, as the only gun present in the mod is the Pistol, this is the only weapon that can be upgraded here.

 

 

  • Gatherer's Garden

-Allows the player to craft plasmids they found previously, as well as upgrade plasmids.

-The player will always have access to Electro Bolt and Electro Bolt 2.

-To upgrade a plasmid, put the previous plasmid in the bottle slot as opposed to an empty plasmid bottle.

 

 

  • New plasmids

-2 (technically 4) new plasmids:

 

  1. Insect Swarm
    -Shoot a swarm of bees at a target. This swarm will slow, weaken, and damage the target. If a mob dies while being swarmed, the swarm will spread to nearby other mobs

  2. Evoker Fangs

    -Surround a target with evoker fangs.

    -If sneaking, you will instead send forward a wave of evoker fangs in the direction you cast. This costs more EVE. Be careful, as there will be one that spawns under you.

    -To replicate this in a Gatherer's garden, you need to use the bottle it comes in as opposed to the regular plasmid bottle.

    -To find this plasmid, you need to kill evokers, who have a small chance to drop it.

  3. Electro Bolt 2
    -Increases the stun duration, but also the EVE cost.
    -If sneaking, you will instead shoot a ball of chain lightning that has an AOE stun effect, but costs more EVE.
  4. Incinerate! 2

 

-Increases the burn duration, but also the EVE cost.
