BindChat77 - Chat Binds & Command Shortcuts

A client-side utility mod that lets you bind chat messages, server commands to specific keyboard keys. Change your binds directly in-game key settings.

🛠️ In-Game Commands

Use these commands in the chat to manage your shortcuts:

• /bindmsg set [1-4] [text/command] – Sets a custom text or command to a slot.
• /bindmsg clear [1-4] – Removes the bind from a slot.
• /bindmsg list – Shows your currently saved binds.

⌨️ Default Keybindings

• Slot 1: Key K
• Slot 2: Key L
• Slot 3: Key M
• Slot 4: Key N

💡 Examples

• /bindmsg set 1 /home -> Pressing K executes /home instantly.
• /bindmsg set 2 /msg PlayerName Hello! -> Pressing L sends the message.

⚙️ Technical Details

• Client-Side Only: You don't need the server to have this mod installed. Works everywhere.
• Persistent Config: Binds are saved locally in config/bindchat77_bindy.txt.
• Modpacks: You are free to use this mod in any modpack.
