# Bind Profile Next
**Save your keybinds as profiles and switch between them in one keypress.**
Different playstyles need different controls: building, PvP, parkour, a modpack with lots of extra keys. Bind Profile Next lets you store your whole key layout as a named profile and swap between layouts instantly, without digging through the Controls menu.
## Features
- **Save profiles.** Capture all your current keybinds as a profile with one key press.
- **Quick cycling.** Press a single key to switch to the next saved profile.
- **In-game menu.** Manage everything from a simple screen:
- save the current binds as a new profile
- load a profile
- rename a profile
- delete one profile or all of them
- **Plain JSON files.** Profiles are stored in `config/bindprofilenext/`, so you can back them up, share them with friends, or edit them by hand.
- **Safe to use.** Unknown keys or actions in a profile file are skipped instead of causing a crash. The mod's own keybinds are never touched by a profile, so you can't lock yourself out of the menu.
- **Client-side only.** Nothing is needed on the server.
