Description
BIGDOGS RAYGUNS
Fine Instruments of Total Annihilation. Est. 2026.
Good day, and welcome.
BIGDOGS RAYGUNS is pleased to present a curated collection of thirty-five distinguished energy weapons for the discerning Minecraft player, together with a complete line of accessories, ordnance, facilities and executive services. Each piece has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a complete disregard for the structural integrity of the surrounding landscape.
We understand that the modern adventurer is busy. Mining a mountain by hand is, frankly, beneath you. Our instruments offer a more refined alternative: removing the mountain, the valley beside it, and, should you so desire, the bedrock beneath both.
We do not believe in balance. We believe in excellence.

- Complete personal safety: you are entirely immune to your own rayguns and bombs

Hazard Ratings
Every instrument carries a Hazard Rating, shown in its tooltip, the Raygun Station and the guide book. The collection is presented below in ascending order of regret.
Starter Instruments
For your first hour with us. No Raygun Core required, and they may be made at an ordinary crafting table.
- Raynium Pistol: a sleek sidearm whose teal beam pierces through several targets. A full charge adds a firm shove.
- Raynium Excavator: a mining laser that carves through stone and hands you what it mines. A full charge digs 3×3.
Low
Suitable for the beginning collector. Most of your surroundings will survive.
- Size Warper: adjusts the stature of mobs. One may make them colossal enough to crush buildings, or small enough to step on.
- Clone Cannon: reproduces any mob tenfold and enlists the copies into your personal service.
- Glitch Gun: politely corrupts reality into missing textures, then deletes it.
- Necro Beam: invites the recently departed to return as loyal ghostly attendants, or raises an entire graveyard at once.
- Chrono Ripper: suspends time within a bubble, records all damage dealt, and settles the account at triple the rate.
- Kraken Cannon: calls forth enormous tentacles from beneath the ground to attend to all nearby business.
Medium
For the collector who has everything, and would like to remove some of it.
- Cryo Apocalypse: preserves every living thing as a tasteful ice sculpture, then shatters the exhibition in sequence.
- Storm Sovereign: distributes lightning across twenty guests at once, or summons a storm cell with a lightning tornado for more formal occasions.
- Gravity Inverter: briefly reverses gravity so that everything may enjoy a view from the sky, before returning it to the ground somewhat abruptly.
- Tsunami Driver: dispatches a twenty-block wall of water across the countryside.
- Nanite Swarm: consumes the landscape and, as a gesture of gratitude, rebuilds it as a monumental metal statue of yourself.
- Titan Fist: delivers a giant fist of pure energy, or, for emphasis, a colossal one from directly above.
- Tectonic Splitter: opens a canyon of molten lava through the earth, in a straight and orderly line.
High
Recommended for experienced owners. Neighbours should be informed in advance.
- Worldsphere: lifts the ground into a perfect sphere, sets it alight, and returns it to the earth at a stately, unhurried pace.
- Solar Lance: requests a steerable beam of sunlight from the heavens, carving a deep molten trench into the land.
- Meteor Caller: opens the sky and arranges a meteor shower, closing with one truly memorable impact.
- Dimension Ripper: exchanges a sixty-block sphere of your world with the Nether or the End. Exchanges may be reversed upon request.
- Event Horizon: opens a black hole of considerable size that respectfully invites all nearby mobs and blocks inside, then concludes the evening with a brilliant white shockwave.
Extreme
Our most exclusive pieces. Recommended only for worlds one is not especially attached to.
- Prismatic Annihilator: a single beam that divides into an exquisite fractal of bouncing rainbow light, each terminus an explosion.
- Glass Dome: encloses an area 240 blocks across beneath an elegant glass dome, then fills it entirely with a swelling fireball.
- Dragon Armada: fifty skeletal dragons emerge from a portal, conduct a formal fly-past with violet fire, and finish in a single synchronised descent.
- Sky Shatter: cracks the sky like fine glass and lowers its shards onto the land below. Gently is a relative term.
- Eon Accelerator: advances the passage of time by several million years, leaving a quiet wasteland and some rather impressive fossils.
- Yggdrasil Seed: cultivates a world tree that rises past the clouds, then sets it ablaze and fells it across the countryside.
- Leviathan Call: a serpent the size of a mountain range crushes the area in its coils and departs through a canyon of its own making.
- Continent Flipper: lifts a 10×10 chunk parcel of land into the sky, turns it over with great care, and sets it back down upside down.
- Reality Fold: folds the landscape closed like the pages of a well-loved book.
- Titan Caller: summons a titan who exceeds the world height limit. He flattens the land with several stomps, retrieves his hammer from another dimension, and concludes with a single blow to bedrock.
- Supernova: transforms the instrument into a small sun in the owner's hands, then fires it wherever you are aiming. The resulting explosion is of stellar proportions.
- World Eraser: removes the world one chunk at a time, bedrock included, leaving an immaculate square of pure void.
By Invitation Only
- The Executive Decision: a black-and-gold instrument that fires any raygun you have ever owned. It is not for sale. It is awarded.
The Portal Raygun
For the client who prefers to arrive without the inconvenience of travelling.
- Linked Portals: fire a teal portal and a violet portal onto any two walls, floors or ceilings. You can see through them, like windows, and walk, fall or throw things through. Momentum is preserved, so falling into a floor portal flings you out of a wall portal with dignity. Mobs, items and arrows go through too.
- Coordinate Portals: open the Coordinate Console, type X, Y and Z, choose a dimension (including other mods' dimensions, or a brand-new random world you may return to), and save your favourite destinations. The console previews the place and its biome. Fire, and a swirling travel portal opens for fifteen seconds so your friends may follow. We never deliver guests into rock, lava, the void or thin air.
- Runs on a portal charge, refilled with Ender Pearls or Raynium. Destroys nothing whatsoever, which our accountants find deeply confusing.
The Bottled Raygun
For the collector who would like to take the landscape home.
Choose an area of any size, and the Bottled Raygun lifts it out of the ground, mobs and all, and draws it into a glass jar on the instrument. The tiny landscape lives on inside, its residents wandering about. Detach the jar to keep it, display it on your desk as a Terrarium, or place it back down at any scale, from a diorama that fits within a single block to the full-size original. Grandma's Farm, now in convenient travel size.
The Raynium Scale Belt
One size does not fit all.
Worn at the waist, the Scale Belt lets you adjust your own size at the turn of a dial: hold Ctrl and scroll to shrink down towards the size of an atom, or grow until you look the Titan Caller's titan in the eye. Giants shake the ground with every step; the very small see the world shimmer at the quantum level.
Executive Transport
For the executive who finds roads a touch pedestrian.
- Raynium Wingsuit: glides farther and faster than an elytra, leaves trails of teal light, and boosts at a double-tap of the jump key. No fireworks required.
- BIGDOGS Hoverbike: a black-and-gold flying motorbike that banks through turns, climbs to any height, boosts on command, and lights the way with its headlights. Room for one passenger.
- Executive Saucer: a chrome-and-gold flying saucer with a glass dome for two. It hovers perfectly still for the discerning builder or spectator, and its tractor beam lifts mobs, items and willing friends and carries them wherever you please. Arrive in style. Leave with the livestock.
Our vehicles run on Raynium, accept upgrade modules, may be packed away into your pocket, and will fly to you when called. Should one run dry, it descends with dignity.
Bespoke Modifications
Every instrument may be personalised at the Raygun Station's MODIFY bench with up to three upgrade modules, each available in three grades:
- Amplifier: a larger radius
- Capacitor: a faster charge
- Coolant: a shorter cooldown
Installed modules glow on the instrument itself, and may be removed at any time without penalty.
Your Safety Is Our Priority
Every owner is entirely immune to their own instruments and ordnance. You will not be burned, frozen, pulled, pushed, crushed or buried by your own shot, and anything your rayguns summon will never turn on you. Your friends, regrettably, enjoy no such courtesy.
For your home, we recommend the Aegis Field Generator: a shimmering dome, eight to forty-eight blocks across, inside which no raygun, bomb, blade or boss may alter a single block. It runs on Raynium, and only you and the friends you trust may adjust it.
And should you change your mind entirely, /oprayguns undo will restore the landscape to its prior condition. We trust it will be to your satisfaction.
The Worldcleaver
A katana of obsidian black and crimson, for those occasions when a raygun would be excessive.
- Hold right-click to preview your cut. The plane may be rotated to any angle, because precision matters.
- Release to divide the world along it. The detached portion slides, tips, topples and lands in accordance with proper physics.
- Fully charged: Thousand Cuts dices the terrain into tumbling cubes, Heaven Splitter divides a mountain from sky to bedrock, and Launch Cut sends the severed piece spinning into the air.
- In more personal encounters, it divides mobs in half, dashes fifteen blocks in a single stroke, and parries with poise.
The Ordnance Collection
For occasions when a raygun feels insufficiently permanent.
Ten bomb blocks, ignited like TNT, each displaying its blast radius on the ground so that you may stand a respectful distance away.
- The Ladder: the Raynium Charge, the Breacher, the Crater Maker, the Megaton and, for the truly committed, the Planet Cracker, which digs to bedrock and makes a mushroom cloud visible from a considerable distance.
- Special Ordnance:
- Cluster Bomb: scatters a carpet of bouncing bomblets.
- Singularity Bomb: implodes rather than explodes, leaving a perfectly round hole.
- Cryo Bomb: flash-freezes everything, then shatters it.
- Prospector Bomb: removes only the stone and leaves every ore standing. Recommended for the efficient miner.
- Antimatter Bomb: a sphere of the world simply ceases to exist. No fire. No debris. Merely absence.
Raynium
A rare and rather beautiful ore, glowing teal and violet deep beneath the surface, scarcer than diamond. Raw Raynium is refined into ingots in a blast furnace, and only a blast furnace. We have standards.
From it, our workshops produce:
- Raynium Armor, formalwear for meeting our honoured guests. Stronger than netherite, it reduces boss damage by 12% per piece, and a full set adds the Raynium Barrier, Shockwave Anchor, Acid Proof and Stellar Sight. It offers no protection against other players' rayguns, in the interest of fair sport.
- Raynium Tools, each forged from its netherite equivalent: a Sword that sends an energy wave through a crowd and deals extra damage to bosses, a Pickaxe and Shovel that dig 3×3, an Axe that fells the entire tree, and a Hoe that tills, harvests and replants 3×3.
- Gadgets:
- Raynium Jetpack: for the executive who prefers to commute by air.
- Gravity Gauntlet: lift a mob or a block, carry it before you, and throw it.
- Shrine Compass: always points towards your next appointment.
- Raygun Holster: carries nine instruments at once and draws any of them at a keystroke.
- The Raygun Display Rack, so that your collection may be admired.
- Executive Espresso: Haste and Speed for the busy executive who has a great deal of world to remove before lunch.
Our Honoured Guests
Every flagship raygun requires a Raygun Core. Regrettably, these cannot be crafted. They are held by our guests, who must be persuaded to part with them. Each guest now receives visitors from the inside.
- Gravemaw, the World Devourer: "Into the Belly." The worm rises and swallows you whole. Make your way through the gullet, across the acid lake of its stomach and through the shifting intestine maze to its enormous beating heart, then see that it beats no more. Its skeleton remains as a souvenir.
- Overseer MK-Ω, the Raygun Titan: "Boarding Party." A tractor beam carries you aboard. Climb through its cargo bay, assembly line and weapons deck to the reactor core, defeat its Warden, overload the reactor, and reach the escape pods within sixty seconds. Punctuality is essential.
- Nebula Leviathan, the Sky Whale: "The Galaxy Within." The whale inhales you into a galaxy of its own. Cross drifting asteroids in low gravity, light the constellation gates, and extinguish the dying star at its heart. You will fall gently home beneath a new constellation.
Should a visit go poorly, you will wake at home with your belongings intact. We are not monsters. Our guests are.
And Finally
We are told the Chairman of BIGDOGS Industries takes a personal interest in exceptional clients. Those who have met all three of our guests may find an invitation in their pocket. Formal attire is recommended. Your instruments are welcome.
The BIGDOGS Continuity Program
Why die, when you can simply reschedule?
- Take a Genetic Sample of yourself, and grow a clone in the Cloning Vat. You may watch it take shape.
- Step into a Stasis Pod and Transfer: your original remains in our care, chilled to a comfortable temperature, with all of its belongings, while your mind wakes in the clone.
- Recall whenever you wish. Your clone will wait patiently where you left it.
- Should your clone meet with misfortune, there is no death screen. You simply wake in your original body, and a green portal promptly forwards everything your clone was carrying.
The Shrines, the Vault and the Dealer
- Three Boss Shrines are scattered across the world, each with a Summoning Altar. Your first visit to each is complimentary.
- The Devourer's Grave: a great worm of sandstone and bone breaching the desert dunes.
- The Crash Site: a crater around a fallen Overseer drop pod.
- The Starwatch Observatory: a ruined telescope tower on the mountain peaks, receiving visitors at night only.
- The Perpetuity Vault, a very rare abandoned laboratory buried in the hillsides, holds the Totem of Perpetuity: a Totem of Undying with five charges, for the guest who intends to die repeatedly. Its security remains very much operational.
- The BIGDOGS Arms Dealer, a gentleman in a dark suit and a gold tie, keeps a small Outlet in some villages. He trades in Raynium, bomb parts, starter instruments, modules, shrine maps and espresso. Everything is non-refundable, as is the landscape.
Celestial Deliveries
A meteor shower has been forecast for this evening. Hats are advised.
On certain nights, glowing teal and violet meteors streak across the sky, and a few of them land. Each leaves a smoking crater of Meteorite, rich in Raynium, with a BIGDOGS Supply Crate half-buried at its heart. The Shrine Compass will happily guide you to the nearest one. Rest assured that our meteors never land on your bed, your village, or your Aegis Field.
Your Personal Assistant
"Shall I fetch that for you, sir?"
A small hovering BIGDOGS robot in a gold bowtie, available exclusively from our most senior Arms Dealers. It follows you everywhere, collects whatever you drop, lights up the darkest caves, and politely zaps anything hostile, offering tasteful commentary all the while. It may address you as sir, madam, boss, or by name, as you prefer. Should it come to harm, it simply requires maintenance.
The Trophy Room
Every victory over our honoured guests earns each guest present a mounted trophy: the Gravemaw Head, the Overseer MK-Ω Head, the Nebula Leviathan Head, and The Chairman's Bust. Each is animated, inscribed with the date and the victor, and may be commissioned into a full statue at the Raygun Station. Right-click one for a brief reminder of the occasion.

- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API
- GeckoLib
Optional, and supported:
- Mod Menu: adds a Config button.

- Distant Horizons: far-away terrain shows every crater.
- Sodium and Iris: with a shader pack active, portals show a swirl rather than the view through them, unless you request otherwise in the settings.
A Word of Caution
- These instruments remove very large portions of your world. We strongly advise backing up any world of sentimental value.
- Every setting may be adjusted from the in-game settings screen: Mod Menu,
/oprayguns config, or a key binding. On servers, each guest controls their own visuals and sound, while gameplay settings are reserved for operators. - Block destruction may be disabled entirely, should you wish to enjoy the spectacle without the consequences.
- Particle density, camera shake and screen flashes may all be reduced or disabled.
- A small controls box shows the controls for whatever you are holding. Press F7 to hide it, or to hide all BIGDOGS displays entirely.
