- Concept.
I wanted the trident to be craftable, since there isn't a recipe in the game to make it. I didn't just want to include a recipe; I wanted to give it a purpose. After thinking for a while, I remembered that the trident has something to do with energy conduction—even an enchantment can attract lightning. So, I immediately thought of copper, a mineral that doesn't have many crafting recipes. Therefore, I saw a viable option for a copper tool used to craft the trident.
- What does it do?
It's a nerfed version of the trident, so it does less damage. It can still be thrown and picked up, although my intention was for it to also be enchantable (I wanted to ignore enchantments like loyalty and water propulsion, since I think those should be exclusive to the trident version). I haven't yet found a way to do this in Minecraft Creator on the version I'm using, so for now, that will remain unresolved. But I still think it's a good weapon, although I think people would only use it to craft the trident lol.
- Errors.
When an item has an enchantment and is dropped, the enchantments are removed when it is picked up, so be careful; this weapon doesn't have any enchantments yet.
- Crafting.
*At the crafting table: with three copper ingots and two iron ingots, forming a T shape, you make the trident.
*At the blacksmithing table: the trident plus one Heart of the Sea and another iron ingot makes the trident.
[1.5 version]
I've already added a 2D texture to the GUI, and I've also included some translations for Spanish. Finally, I added an achievement for obtaining the bident.
