Betty’s Better Seasons
is a simple, lightweight framework for handling time, seasons and farming. It keeps track of the date, manages crop seasons, and triggers relevant events without hogging performance or messing with your game. Other mods use it to define things like custom festivals or crop rules. If you run it completely standalone, it won't interfere with anything—just serving as a neat, useful calendar for vanilla worlds.
Note! I created this library for GardenTCG, my upcoming mod. It was designed to fit the needs of my mod. If you want to create a mod using this library, feel free to do so. There is a WIKI in the github repository, with a guide on how to setup the mod in your project and create your own data packs to create more custom seasons, custom seasonal crops, custom events, etc.
The library will stay at Forge 1.20.1 for awhile until the major systems of my main mod is developed. I will not be creating a fabric version for this library, only Forge and NeoForge. It will be ported NeoForge 1.21-1.21.8, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3.
