What's new
- BetterGamma now runs on OneConfig and needs it installed. All of its settings are in the OneConfig menu.
- Fullbright still never touches your brightness setting. It now also gives you a hidden night vision effect that only your game sees, so shader packs that react to night vision light up too. Servers can't clear it, and it doesn't show up in your effects.
- Night vision is no longer a separate toggle. It's part of fullbright.
- Fullbright fades in and out instead of switching instantly, and shader packs that react to night vision fade with it. You can change how long it takes and its easing, or turn it off.
- The fullbright keybind is set in the OneConfig menu, and you can turn notifications for it on or off.
- Added
/bettergamma, withtoggleandbrightness <0-1500>. - Settings from older versions move over on first launch. If you had night vision on, fullbright is turned on.
- New logo.
- Supports Minecraft 1.21 to 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 and 26.1 to 26.3 on Fabric, and 1.8.9 on Ornithe. Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.6 are no longer supported.
- The Russian translation has been removed, since BetterGamma no longer has any translatable text.
- BetterGamma is now licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later.
