Better TreeChop 2.0.0 adds axe throwing, an instant-drop mode and a cleaner settings screen.

🆕 New Content

• Axe throwing: hold right click to raise the axe behind your head, then let go. The longer you hold, the farther it flies. It spins through the air, sticks into walls and trees, and hurts mobs. Walk over it to pick it back up.
• Throwing options: turn throwing on or off, throw only while holding Shift, and set throw strength, throw damage and whether the axe sticks into blocks.
• Instant drop mode: the tree doesn’t fall over. The logs pop out as items right where they stood.
• Leaves in instant drop mode: they can drop loot (saplings, sticks, apples), vanish, or stay and decay like in vanilla.
• Axe sounds: a swing whoosh when throwing, a whistle on every spin, a thud matching the block it hits, and a heavy hit on mobs.

⚔ Changes

• Settings screen: 9 tabs with options grouped under headers. Options that do nothing right now are greyed out. The config file uses the same layout.
• Cut-point felling: the tree breaks where you chopped. The carved logs break into items, the logs below keep standing, and the trunk drops onto the stump before it tips over.
• Stripped wood particles: chips from a debarked trunk now use the stripped wood texture.
• Haste on fallen trunks: Haste and Efficiency now work exactly like on normal logs. When a log mines instantly, a fallen trunk is cut piece after piece with no pause.

🐛 Fixes

• Fallen trunk hitboxes: they now follow how each log lies, so clicks always land where you see the trunk.
• Creative chopping: every click on a fallen trunk cuts right away.
• Floating trees: a tree no longer tips over in mid-air when more than one layer of the trunk was carved.
