This mod is heavily inspired by Better Than Adventure!
How it Started
The idea for Better Than Smooth started out as a project meant for Beta 1.3_01. After looking into it, working directly with old beta files was too broken and the modern developer tools just aren't there for ancient versions. Because of that, the project shifted onto modern NeoForge 1.21.1 so it could actually function on a stable engine.

The Vision
The goal of this mod is to give you a true retro overhaul. It aims to bring back the exact look, vibrant lighting, and gameplay feel of early classic Minecraft alpha and beta phases. Right now, it shifts you into an alternate world generation direction featuring a custom Maple Biome with its own tree generation rules, along with a dedicated Alpha Dimension running classic neon skies.
