Better Strength

A lightweight server utility mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) that gives admins real-time control over the Strength potion effect. Customize damage scaling on the fly using in-game commands, with live tooltip and JEI integration.

BetterStrength is a server utility mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge) designed to give server administrators full control over how the Strength potion effect scales damage. Instead of being locked into Minecraft's default +3 flat damage increase per level, BetterStrength allows you to customize Strength scaling in real-time directly through in-game commands.

Flexible Damage Modes
Percentage Mode (/bstrength percentage <amount>): Scales the default Strength bonus by a percentage. Setting this to 200 turns the default +3 bonus into +9 bonus damage per level.
Value Mode (/bstrength value <amount>): Overrides vanilla scaling with a fixed flat damage bonus per level. Setting this to 1 grants +1 damage per level instead of +3.
Default Reset (/bstrength default): Instantly restores vanilla Java Edition strength behavior (+3 flat damage per level).

Live Inventory & JEI Integration
Potion item tooltips in player inventories automatically update to show the accurate modified damage value.
Fully compatible with JEI (Just Enough Items) brewing recipe displays, updating potion info on the fly without requiring game or resource reloads.

Server-Friendly Configuration
Adjust settings instantly using /bstrength (requires OP permission level 2).
No config file editing or server restarts required.
