Better Shulker Boxes

Better Shulker Boxes is an interactive UI/UX mod that lets you open and manage Shulker Boxes and Ender Chests directly from your inventory through an advanced tooltip preview.

Key Features

Full and Compact Tooltips

• Full 27-slot preview
• Compact mode with merged duplicate stacks
• Total item counts in compact view
• Empty compact containers stay hidden

Fast Insertion and Extraction

• Hold left-click and drag to extract
• Hold right-click and drag to insert
• Insert cursor-held items directly into containers
• Extract items directly from preview slots
• Server-authoritative validation

Select Slots and Extract with E

• Space selects or toggles tooltip slots
• E extracts selected slots
• With no selection, E closes the inventory normally

Keyboard and Scroll Navigation

• Mouse-wheel slot movement
• Arrow-key navigation
• Stable selected-slot highlighting
• Smooth tooltip selection

Restock and Deposit

Use the Restock / Deposit key to move matching items between your inventory and the hovered container. The default key is R.

• R restocks matching items
• Shift + R deposits matching items
• Works with Shulker Boxes and Ender Chests
• Fully configurable in Minecraft's Controls menu

Resource Pack Compatibility

Better Shulker Boxes supports custom GUI textures from resource packs, including colored Shulker GUI styles where available.

Tested packs include:

• Recolourful Containers
• Default Dark Mode
• GUI Retextures
• Translucent GUI and HUD

Recolourful Containers has been tested and works correctly. Other resource packs may require additional compatibility support.
