# Mud Items

New 'Mud Ball' item

- Mud can be crafted into 4 mud balls
- 4 mud balls can be crafted into mud

New 'Mud Brick' item

- 2 mud balls can be crafted horizontally to make a mud brick
- 4 mud brick can be crafted into a mud bricks block (no wheat!)

New 'Muddy Clay Ball' item

# Wet Dirt

New 'Wet Dirt' Block

- Wet Dirt has a 'wetness' property, similar to farmland

- Wet Dirt Blocks become Mud over time, if touching water
- Wet Dirt Blocks become Dirt over time, if not touching water

- Dirt Blocks become Wet Dirt Blocks when water touches them

- Wet Dirt is tillable via hoe tool
- Farmland made from wet dirt will start with the moisture of its wetness

# Muddy Clay

New 'Muddy Clay' Block

- Clay block can be crafted into 4 clay ball

# Dirt Soaking

Some "dirts" can be "soaked".

Soaking involves manually placing the block, where it will have four or more neighbor blocks which can be called "wet".

Wet blocks for soaking include: water, wet dirt, mud.

- Dirt can be soaked to become wet dirt
- Wet dirt can be soaked to become mud
- Mud can be soaked to produce mud balls and muddy clay balls
- Muddy clay can be soaked to produce muddy clay balls and clay balls

# Muddy World Generation

Mud spawns in the world during world generation at land to water borders.

- Dirt becomes mud when touching water during world generation
- Grass becomes mud when touching water during world generation
- Our generated mud can be spread out from where it starts

This mod is configurable.

The default configuration settings had no noticeable performance changes during gameplay on developer testing.

Warning! Using large numbers on the mudGenReach or mudGenSize settings can increase world generation loading times.
