Features

⚒️ Real jobs

Hire a jobless adult from the Job tab of their menu. Each job has its own workstation and outfit:

• Farmer, Lumberjack, Fisher, Breeder, Baker, Blacksmith, Doctor, Teacher
• Miner and Cook (new)
• Guard and Archer (MCA's defenders)

10 workstations with unique models: Seed Shed, Chopping Block, Fish Stall, Feeding Trough, Bread Oven, Forge, Apothecary Table, School Desk, Miner's Cart, Cooking Pot. Villagers work in their zone, store their output in their workstation right away, rise from Apprentice to Master (new trades at each level) and retire in old age.

• The Lumberjack needs an axe, clears leaves, picks up saplings and sticks, and replants.
• The Blacksmith repairs tools, weapons and armor; villagers bring their worn gear.
• The Baker fetches wheat from the farmer, the Teacher produces XP bottles during class.
• Animated work poses, and jobs keep working at any time speed.

💬 Villagers talk

• Villagers chat with each other in your chat, with their head next to their name.
• Real topics (weather, work, taxes, family, you) and ~280 job-specific lines.
• Witnesses react to fights, thefts, deaths and births.
• Marriages respect each villager's orientation.

🏛️ Living villages

• Five ranks, from Hamlet to Metropolis, with a redesigned village screen.
• Building quality, new buildings (Town Hall, Market, Chapel, School, Theater).
• Edit the Blueprint: add or remove buildings, rescan the village, restrict access to titled players.
• Treasury with a full log of deposits and withdrawals, weekly taxes, decrees and justice.
• Market day: sell your goods through barrels, check the price list, enjoy 20% off trades and a rare offer from each villager, and meet wandering merchants.
• Happiness and illness for every villager.

⏳ Generations & graves

• Villagers age visibly (white hair, bent back, cane), retire and pass away.
• Choose the time speed: one Minecraft day = a day, week, month, season or year.
• Graves with portrait, name, job and dates: wooden cross, stele or marble tomb (all craftable).
• Resurrected villagers keep a record of their past lives.

🌳 Family tree

• Portraits, unlimited distance, no crossing lines, search by first name.
• Deceased villagers stay in the tree. Surnames passed down to children.

📱 Phone

• Your own number, photos, gallery, sharing, printed photos (placeable on any surface) and a villager tracker.

🎒 Also

• Multi-floor houses count as one home.
• An illustrated book about happiness given at the start, with its own advancement.
• A Better MCA creative tab.

Commands

• /surname [name]: see or set your surname. /surname fill (op) for existing worlds.
• /villagetitle (op): force a title on the nearest village.
• /villagerank <hamlet|village|town|city|metropolis> (op): set the rank of the village you're in (it can drop back if prestige is too low).
• /villagemarket (op): sell the Market stalls right now (normally done on Saturday at 6 PM).
• /time add <ticks> (op): skip time, villagers live through it (max 100 years).
• /gamerule mcaVieTimeSpeed <day|week|month|season|year> (op): change the time speed.
