**Better Light** is a lightweight Forge mod that lets you carry lanterns naturally, explore with both hands free, and interact with light sources in a more intuitive way.

Instead of constantly holding a lantern, simply equip it on your belt and let it illuminate your path while you mine, fight, or build.
