Better Infinite Inventory

Better Infinite Inventory completely overhauls the Minecraft inventory system, providing limitless storage capacity directly within the player's vanilla inventory screen. Gone are the days of managing dozens of shulker boxes, dumping items into temporary chests, or agonizing over which block to leave behind on long mining trips.

This mod fundamentally rewrites how Minecraft handles item storage, seamlessly blending a bottomless storage system into the vanilla UI.

Features

Infinite Storage Capacity

As your inventory fills up, the inventory screen automatically expands. You can scroll down infinitely to access newly generated rows. Every single item you pick up is safely and permanently stored, with no limit to how many unique items you can carry.

Infinite Item Stacking

Vanilla limits stacks to 64 items. Better Infinite Inventory completely bypasses this limitation, allowing items to stack into the billions (up to 2,147,483,647).

• When you pick up hundreds of thousands of cobblestone, it merges perfectly into a single, massive stack.
• The item count overlay dynamically adjusts to display abbreviated numbers (e.g., "1.5K", "2M", "1.2B") so your screen remains uncluttered.

Seamless Vanilla Integration

The UI has been carefully designed to feel like a native feature:

• Ultra-Sleek Scrollbar: A custom 2-pixel wide scrollbar sits flush within the vanilla inventory boundaries.
• Native-Feeling Buttons: Sorting and configuration buttons match the exact dimensions and aesthetic of the Recipe Book icon, blending perfectly into the background.

Robust and Reliable

• Flawless KeepInventory Support: Fully supports the keepInventory gamerule. When disabled, your items drop properly upon death without crashing or corrupting.
• Drop and Pickup Safe: A custom NBT architecture ensures that dropping items with billions of counts on the ground, placing them in chests, or picking them back up will perfectly preserve their massive stack sizes. Nothing wraps around, corrupts, or vanishes.

Compatibility

Built for Fabric 1.20.1. Better Infinite Inventory modifies core inventory mechanics and is required on both the Client and Server.
