Better Gold Expansion

This NeoForge mod expands Minecraft’s gold content with a variety of new practical blocks and items, bringing more usability and richer building options to gold ingots.

Mod Origin

Originally debuted for Minecraft China Edition back in 2020, the mod was created by the original author jxl 井桢. Due to discontinued version updates, the old China Edition build gradually became outdated, unstable, and filled with bugs. This project faithfully revives and remasters the classic mod, porting and rebuilding the complete content for modern Minecraft Java Edition.

Content Overview

It adds a full set of gold‑themed building blocks including gold door, gold trapdoor, gold fence, fence gate and gold lantern. A brand‑new sturdy‑gold material is also implemented, featuring complete tool sets and exclusive building blocks.

Development & Credits

• All in‑game textures are fully hand‑drawn by our collaborator.
• The project adopts Harness development workflow. Most code is AI‑assisted and completely manually organized, optimized, debugged and balanced for official release.

Compatibility

• Fully compatible with Quark (Quark provides gold bars; this mod adds full gold building blocks).
• Automatically disables conflicting recipes when Ornamental (Nifty) is present to avoid duplicate content.
