What's New

The number of available flint & steel types in this version of the mod has been shrunk to accommodate for the abscene of certain mods that BFS once relied on to obtain all types of flint & steel there was to offer. Instead, there are now just 10 types of flint and steel with an additional 2 used to craft the Flint of the North Star, an unbreakable flint & steel, previously obtainable in the 1.12 version.

To ensure that all flint & steel types are accessible to the player, BFS is dependent on More Ores available on CurseForge for download. More Ores adds its base, non-alloy, ingots to the Forge ore dictionary; however, since it's not gaurenteed that another mod will do the same, BFS is therefore dependent on More Ores to ensure all recipes are available to the player.

Take Note

Better Flint & Steels require the More Ores mod to be installed to gaurentee all recipes are available to the player, please install this mod if you haven't already!
