There are also many more crafting recipes! An example is the mace. You can craft it with 6 iron blocks on top and middle, and 1 stick in the middle under row!

Pro tips
1. build a base before it becomes night (IT IS VERY DANGEROUS IN THE NIGHT)!
2. You can craft tools and armor out of almost every ore!
3. Make sure to always wear armor!
4. I would recommend upgrading your iron tools to onyx by smithing it in the smithing table with 2 onyx!
5. Try to tame as many creatures as you can (YOU NEED THEM)!
NEW HARD MODE: If difficulty is set to hard, then it will always be night and you will be afraid of water!
